Kabasalan Science and Technology High School (KSTHS) lit up the stage with a vibrant, dynamic, and energetic atmosphere to officially begin the search for Mr. and Ms. KSTHS 2025. The event, held at the schoolโ€™s covered court, featured fourteen (14) candidatesโ€”seven (7) male and seven (7) femaleโ€”each showcasing their confidence and charisma for the much-anticipated competition, November 27, 2025.

Following the lively production number, the stage transitioned into an environment that embraced school pride. With poise and refinement, the candidates proceeded to their second exposure, presenting their school uniform attire. They carried themselves with confidence and composure, allowing their natural charm to take center stage.

To heighten the excitement, the candidates then shifted to a more innovative and creative segment as they presented their futuristic attireโ€”an imaginative display of concepts and designs. The audience was captivated by bold ideas, intricate details, and visually striking creations. From robotic-inspired looks to illuminated costumes, this segment stood out as one of the eventโ€™s major highlights.

After the creative showcase, the pageant moved into a more elegant and culturally rooted tone as the candidates presented their Barong Tagalog and Filipiniana attire, each incorporating a modern, elevated twist. Sparkling dresses, contemporary silhouettes, and fashionable designs graced the stage while still honoring the essence of traditional Filipino garments.

Immediately after, the wits and communication skills of each candidate were tested in the preliminary question-and-answer portion, which concluded the preliminary rounds of the event.
Following a short break and a serenade, the announcement of the Minor Awards was made, leading to the reveal of the Top 3 finalists. For the male category: Candidate No. 3, Jeff Yron Tumampos; Candidate No. 6, Drake Cainglet; and Candidate No. 4, Mark Ryan Liberto. For the female category: Candidate No. 3, Queenie Rose Capasilan; Candidate No. 4, Princess Joy Sarmiento; and Candidate No. 5, Argenie Along.

After another brief intermission, the finalists faced their final set of questionsโ€”an ultimate test of composure under pressure. Each finalist delivered their thoughts with clarity, poise, and confidence, expressing their advocacies and insights with conviction.

Finally, the moment everyone had been waiting for arrived: the announcement of the winners. Ms. Argenie Along and Mr. Mark Ryan Liberto were declared the 2nd Runners-up, while Ms. Princess Joy Sarmiento and Mr. Drake Cainglet were named 1st Runners-up. Claiming the coveted titles of Mr. and Ms. KSTHS 2025 were Ms. Queenie Rose Capasilan and Mr. Jeff Yron Tumampos.

The search has concludedโ€”voices were heard, elegance was witnessed, and two candidates rose above the rest. Though only two emerged victorious, all fourteen (14) candidates proved that they belonged on the stage. This event marks yet another memorable chapter to be etched into the archives of KSTHS.

They say the crown chooses its master, not by accident, not by some sheer luck, but by the quiet flame that rises for those who dares to wear it. The crown does not go to where the crowd is, it does not yearn for the applauseโ€” it stands by the character of those worthy to be its bearer. A bearer with true grace, beauty, wit and strength to stride with every step, even in the highest points of pressure.

The stage awakens once more, and the lights flash bright as ever. After last yearโ€™s triumphant return, Kabasalan Science and Technology High School (KSTHS) continues the legacyโ€”the search for ๐Œ๐ซ. ๐š๐ง๐ ๐Œ๐ฌ. ๐Š๐’๐“๐‡๐’ ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“! The pageant now steps into the spotlight to look for the one who dares to rise beyond expectations.

Who will command the stage?
Who will turn pressure into poise?
Who will step into the spotlight?

And with all of these questions lingering around, the crown awaits and the audience anticipates with the one question that lingers heavier than others: ๐–๐ก๐จ ๐–๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐“๐š๐ค๐ž ๐“๐ก๐ž ๐‚๐ซ๐จ๐ฐ๐ง?

Kabasalan Science and Technology High School (KSTHS) officially marked the end of its National Reading Month Celebration with a culmination program held on November 26, 2025 at the schoolโ€™s covered court under the theme โ€œPAGBASA: Pag-asa sa Matatag na Kinabukasan.โ€ The Elite Readerโ€™s Club (ERC) spearheaded the said event, which aimed to encourage everyone to read, value knowledge, and broaden their understanding.

The activity began with a prayer led by Mr. Jeldon Malinao, followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem through a multimedia presentation. The event was officially opened with welcoming remarks delivered by Ms. Xela Mae D. Alajas, School Paper Adviser of The Metamorphosis.

A highlight of the program was the presentation of the Reading Ambassador, led by Mr. Sirman Jaiyari, where he introduced Ms. Sheena R. Morales, LPT.

During her speech, Ms. Morales highlighted the transformative power of reading in shaping studentsโ€™ perspectives, strengthening critical-thinking skills, and nurturing a lifelong love for learning.

โ€œReading is not a competition, it is a journey; we are at our own pace and our own interest, and that is what makes every reader unique,โ€ she stated.

Afterwards, various competitions were conducted, including the Quiz Bee, Spelling Bee, Extemporaneous Speaking, and Impromptu Speaking, where representatives from different grade levels showcased their skills.

To conclude the program, certificates were awarded to the winners of the different competitions.

In line with the celebration of the 24th foundation day of Kabasalan Science and Technology High School (KSTHS), the school held a thanksgiving mass this 21st day of November, 2025 at the school covered court, 8 in the morning.

The mass was presided by Rev. Fr. Marc Anthony Vaguchay of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Kabasalan and attended by students, faculty and staff, and teachers to give thanks for the years of strong service of KSTHS.

The mass was then concluded with the school principal, Dr. Joan Melrose T. Elnas, who gave her words of gratitude on behalf of the school for Rev. Fr. Vaguchay, the parish and those who attended.
