An artist who has been quick to endear himself into the hearts of hip-hop, rap and R&B music lovers, Miami-based rapper and singer brings such wit, charm, and an unmatched stage presence that has earned him an up-and-coming notice among the Miami and indeed international hip hop music scene. KoolkidRockwell has a writing style and flow that seem similar to influences like Lil Baby, Lil Durk, and Gunna, with a hint of southern bellow like Quavo in the way he makes those hooks.

Growing up in the streets permeated with gang and drug culture wasn’t particularly an easy ride for one Cashflowbj, who survived with just the hope of making it off the streets. With a jungle-like unspoken theme of survival for the fittest, Cashflowbj found himself backed up in a tight corner without so many choices to go by or even the slightest glaring opportunity to grab. To people like Cashflowbj trying to survive a day at a time, you could only dream so far.

His story is one of unwavering resilience, a story that saw him follow his musical and entrepreneurial passions, and though it has not been particularly a walk in the park, he is somewhere, and he can look back with pride and acknowledge what he never thought possible as a young man trapped in the streets with nothing to look forward to!

“Dear Lord” looks back at that trapped life—the life of the streets, where you either end up dead or in jail. I really can’t quite wrap my head around what has me spellbound about that rip-roaring performance I have just experienced in the form of Royal Fools’ latest single dubbed “Pretender”; I am not quite sure if it’s the raw intensity of that relentless instrumentation flanked by equally impassioned throaty vocals or the bold lyricism…or even that ear worming, subtly soothing, and soul-stirring ending of the track that is in brilliant contrast to the marvelous, adrenaline-rushing performance that precedes it—either way, consider me fully hypnotized and mesmerized!

This is what you’d come to expect from identical twin brothers and the brainchild behind Royal Fools: a spectra rock outfit dedicated to fashioning that epic and unrestrained pop-rock in its original and organic form.

True to the tradition of such a rollicking type of sound, backed by their youthful exuberance and thrill to joyfully breach boundaries, Royal Fools give the world a sonic kick in the teeth with “Pretender,” which is imbued with all the telltale signs of a love gone sour as much as a toxic love being enjoyed.

The music of this super duo made up of brothers Tim and CJ could be described as a mix of…well…folk and indie-tuned pop-rock with a heavy reference to a wide range of vocal and acoustic stylings to create each song a bit differently from the other. If one were to categorize Sparks In The Garden, it’d be a bit difficult and maybe unfair to just box them when all they do is deliver a multicolored sound that is as visceral as it is cathartic. Perhaps they are leaning towards a genre-bending sound that blends rough soul and folk vocals with driving rock combined with ‘80s pop?

Regardless of where one would put Sparks In The Garden in the musical genre chart, the duo is doing their best to push the genre boundaries and not limit themselves to what types of music they provide. After tearing a hole in the mainstream scene with their incredible “Colorado” single, Sparks In The Garden are back with another equally enchanting ballad dubbed “Your Hand In Mine”

A Philly emcee, it feels more like this time Vidpoet brings a gun to a sword fight with that sophomore dose of Art Therapy that sees him continue from where he left of and with the help of Steve Sperry, which really reminds me of a question I have been dying to ask, “Do people still talk about rap as if it had 5 elements or even 6???” From where I am standing (or rather sitting), I feel that there is only one element to hip hop, and that is emceeing, which really marks “Art Therapy, Pt.2” for a certain originality that is rarely found in the music industry today!

I have to give it to Vidpoet’s producer, who seems like a top-notch specimen when it comes to making boom trap—in fact, it is his straightforward complexity that really allows Vidpoet to spring to life with plenty of oxymorons of his own as well as enough verbal contortions to have you second guessing your therapist at times!
