I feel like a sparkle that fell to the ground. This is the only game with fireworks that I found, and I used it before. I considered trying to be clever. Although I wanted to remain in the spirit of the theme, Fireworks, that chose for today's Mystery Monday created by . Also, I am not clever and could not come up with a game that had a cracker. 🤣

A lot of excitement is going on in the Chasing Meeple house. A much anticipated Kickstarter arrived!!!!!! I'm reading the rulebook today. It will most definitely be our Friday night game!!!! Stay tuned.

A new episode will be coming out soon, Chris will be editing today. My brain and mouth weren't connecting last night. Things came out a jumbled mess, particularly the name of a beloved game designer. 🤔🤔

We played Iruselum Anno Domini as a weeknight game, yikes. It was a long night. Usually is whenever you need a rules refresher.

Iruselum plays differently at different player counts, which can be annoying filling to different sections of the rule book. That is the downside. There are so many fun game mechanisms that make it worth it. Strategy completely changed because I kind of forgot about a scoring avenue. Set collection is the primary focus. After that, you can place an apostle. Use your cards wisely. You can seat disciples to earn end game points, bonuses, and read parables. Don't forget to read parables. The game is drenched in theme but is such a great euro game that it appeals to a wide audience.

After us is a deckbuiling, resource management game with card assembly. I'm not sure what it's called but, you lay cards in a row and activate closed boxes. I've seen it before but for the life of me, I can't remember where. The theme of the game is post world disaster. The apes survived and thrived, rebuilding the world using the remaining resources. I would recommend After us to anybody, no matter your skill level.
