You could dedicate a lifetime to exploring Bangkok and still find new wonders, from inspiring temples to charming side streets. The city has a unique vibe. Here are some pictures from my time in Bangkok:

Don’t look in the sun they say, but it makes such a great picture! 🍃

Behind me there's a well-known Buddha head nestled within the banyan tree roots. It's a highly recognizable symbol of Ayutthaya and Thailand. Its history is a bit unclear; some suggest it was placed there by a thief who never came back, while others trace its roots to the 18th century when the city was destroyed during a war. Regardless, it's one of the most breathtaking Buddha images I've ever seen.

Traveling with my family is like stepping into a whirlpool of joy and chaos. We're all bursting with ideas and things we want to do, but time always seems to slip away. Despite the rush, what really lingers are the moments we share: the contagious laughter, the snapshots of our goofiness, and the snapshots that will remain in our hearts. These memories become the stories we carry with us, the echoes of happiness that never fail to bring a smile to my face. 🤪❤️

As Bali's popularity among tourists continues to surge, many once-hidden gems have undergone a transformation, turning into overcrowded tourist hotspots. Among them is the Tegallalang Rice Terrace, a place I first visited in 2018. Initially, it captivated me with its breathtaking beauty, where local farmers nurtured rice on small plots of land. However, my recent return left me with a different impression—it felt more like stepping into a theme park, adorned with picture frames and swings scattered about.

Fortunately, our exploration led us to another hidden treasure, even more astonishing—the Jatiluwih Rice Terraces. If you plan to visit Bali, I highly recommend choosing this gem instead. 🌾

In our 15 Vlog trough Bali we take you on a journey to the most stunning rice terraces in Bali - Jatiluwih Rice Terrace. After being disappointed by the over...

When we exploring the beautiful north of Bali, things didn't go as planned at first. We made the mistake of thinking we could enjoy the fun park at Aling Aling waterfall without a local guide, only to find out that it's not allowed. Then, we had to skip Handara Gate altogether as the queue was so long - minimum waiting time was 2 hours - and we arrived there at noon.

However, our luck turned around when we arrived at Ulun Danu Temple. We had an amazing time with friendly Indonesians from Sumatra who were more interested in taking pictures with us than the main attraction itself. It truly saved our trip!

We hope that our mistakes can serve as a lesson for anyone planning to visit Bali.

In our 14th vlog, we spent the day exploring the beautiful north of Bali, but unfortunately, things didn't go as planned at first. We made the mistake of thi...

Experience the magic of dolphins at sunrise and bask beneath Bali's majestic, untamed waterfall. Discover the hidden gem of the less crowded northern region, where you can embark on a private dolphin-watching adventure from Lovina beach or venture inland for just an hour to witness the awe-inspiring Sekumpul waterfall. That what the north of Bali holds for you!

Welcome back to our Bali adventure! In this (our 13th ) vlog, we're taking you on a journey from the tranquil town of Amed to the stunning Sekumpul Waterfall...

Varosha was once known as one of the most renowned travel destinations globally during the 1970s and held the title of being Cyprus's most famous travel spot. However, since the Turkish Invasion of Cyprus in 1974, it has remained abandoned, frozen in time.

Visiting Varosha felt hopping on a time machine, transporting me back half a century. Witnessing the shattering of countless dreams left an indelible mark on my spirit, particularly after visiting the breathtaking beach, where a small area remains accessible for bathing, with its turquoise waters. And yet, adjacent to this idyllic shore stands an enormous contrast—an area of collapsing and weathered structures.

What a paradise Varosha would be if only there was no conflict.

One of the most stunning destinations on this Indonesian island is Uluwatu, located on the southernmost point of Bali 🌴🌊🏖️

Uluwatu is famous for its pristine beaches with crystal clear water and dramatic cliffs. Our first stop was Padang Padang beach, a popular spot among surfers and beachgoers. The beach is nestled between two cliffs, which makes it an ideal place to relax and enjoy the scenic view. 🏄‍♂️🏊‍♀️

Next, we headed to a hidden gem in Uluwatu, Nunggalan beach. This beach is relatively unknown to tourists, but it's a must-visit if you're in Uluwatu. What makes this beach unique is the shipwreck that lies just offshore. The shipwreck has been there for decades, and it's now become an artificial reef that provides a habitat for various marine life. The beach is not easy to access, but the reward is worth the effort. You'll be amazed by the beauty of this beach, and the shipwreck adds an element of intrigue to this already stunning location 🌊🛳️

🎥🌅 There are so many more spots that we visited, but just watch the video to see them all.

03/05/2023

If you are planning a trip to Indonesia, it is essential to know about the visa requirements. If you are eligible for a visa on arrival (VOA), you can extend it without an agency, which is expensive.

The visa on arrival is available for citizens of over 60 countries, including the Austria, Germany, United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. It allows for a stay of up to 30 days in Indonesia. If you want to stay longer, you can extend your visa once for an additional 30 days.

To extend your visa on arrival, you must go to the immigration office in Indonesia before your visa expires. You will need to bring your passport, a copy of your passport, and your departure ticket. You will also need to fill out an application form and pay a fee of IDR 500,000 (approximately $35 USD) for the extension.

It is important to note that you can only extend your visa once. If you want to stay longer than 60 days, you will need to apply for a different type of visa, such as a tourist or business visa. These visas require more documentation and must be obtained before arriving in Indonesia.

But for all the details just watch this video 😆

This Video shows the process of getting a Visa on Arrival extended, by yourself (without an Agency) so you can stay in Bali for 60 days without a Visa Run an...

31/03/2023

Nusa Penida is an island paradise located in the southeast of Bali, with Diamond Beach being one of the most popular attractions. 💎🏝️
The beach has become a popular tourist destination due to its pristine white sand, turquoise blue waters, and stunning cliffside views. You probably wonder why it's worth visiting. 🤔

Getting to Diamond Beach can be a bit of a challenge. As Nusa Penida island has limited infrastructure, and the roads are not well-maintained, making the journey to Diamond Beach quite bumpy. However, it's worth the trip once you arrive at the beach and see its breathtaking beauty. The easiest way to reach Diamond Beach is by hiring a driver or taking a guided tour. Most tour operators in Bali offer day trips to Nusa Penida Island that include visits to Diamond Beach and other popular attractions. Alternatively, you can rent a motorbike, that’s what we did, or a car and drive yourself, but be aware that the roads are not for the faint of heart. The advantage of renting your own vehicle is skipping the crowed that come with the tours. 🏍️🚕

Once you arrive at Diamond Beach, you'll be greeted by a long flight of stairs that lead down to the beach. The stairs may seem daunting, but the views are worth the effort. As you descend, you'll see the turquoise blue waters and white sand beach come into view, along with the stunning cliff formations that surround the beach. The beach itself is relatively small, but it's incredibly beautiful. The sand is powdery soft, and the waters are crystal clear, making it an ideal spot for swimming and snorkeling. One of the most striking features of Diamond Beach is the natural rock formations that surround it. The towering cliffs are jagged and rugged, with lush green vegetation growing on top. It's an ideal spot for taking photos, especially during sunrise and sunset when the light is at its best. 🌅

Tips for Visiting Diamond Beach Here are some tips for making the most of your visit to Diamond Beach: Bring plenty of sunscreen and water, as there is limited shade on the beach. 🌴
Wear comfortable shoes as the stairs down to the beach can be quite steep. 👟
Try to visit early in the morning or late in the afternoon to avoid the crowds and capture the best lighting for photos. ☀️
Respect the environment and avoid littering on the beach or in the water. 🗑️

Diamond Beach is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful beaches in Nusa Penida, and it's a must-visit for anyone traveling to the island. The journey to the beach may be challenging, but the reward is an unforgettable experience in a stunning location. If you're planning a trip to Bali, be sure to add Nusa Penida and Diamond Beach to your itinerary. You won't regret it!🌊🏖️

As you may have noticed, we occasionally take a step back from social media. Why? Because taking a break from the digital world is vital to our well-being. It allows us to:

Improve our mental health
Reconnect with the people and activities we cherish
Cultivate mindfulness and presence in our daily lives
Gain perspective on our digital habits
Get things done we usually put of

By unplugging from social media, we can recharge our batteries, be more deliberate in our usage, and find deeper appreciation for the world around us. So whenever we need it, we take a pause to prioritize our mental and emotional health. So that when we come back we can put all the love in our account which it deserves.
When was the last time you took a time out from social media?

Nusa Penida is a small island located just off the coast of Bali, . This tropical paradise is often overlooked by tourists, but those who do make the journey to this secluded island are rewarded with some of the most breathtaking views and experiences in the world.

Nusa Penida is a nature lover's dream, with crystal clear waters and white sandy beaches that will take your breath away. The island is also home to a variety of unique wildlife, including the rare and endangered manta ray. Which we sadly did not get to see, but maybe next time.

The island is also known for its towering cliffs and dramatic rock formations, which offer spectacular views of the surrounding waters. One of the most popular spots on the island is Diamond Beach which we show you in this Vlog.

Despite its natural beauty and rich cultural heritage, Nusa Penida remains largely undeveloped, making it the perfect destination for those looking to escape the crowds and experience a more authentic side of Bali.

The best way to experience the island is to rent a scooter and explore the island at your own pace. The island is quite large, and there are many hidden gems to discover.

Overall, is a true , offering visitors a chance to experience some of the most beautiful and unique wildlife in the world. Whether you're looking for a relaxing holiday or an -filled trip, this is sure to exceed your expectations.

Random Sri Lanka Dump 2022 Part 4:
This is the last part of our Sri Lanka journey where we visited the beautiful Matale District to see the Sigiriya Rock. But sadly weren’t able to, because of bad weather and as the weather forecast didn’t look any better the next few days we decided to go back to the beautiful Mirissa and enjoy our last days there. Where we released 2 baby turtles into the ocean. Sri Lanka is a country we would love to visit again as we missed out on so many beautiful sights (due to weather and sickness)!

What is a country for you that you feel like you haven’t explored fully?

Study trip Ivory Coast - a journey into another life 🌱🌍
In order to be able to visit the cocoa production up close and directly on site, the students of the master's program "Food Product Development & Resource Management" had the special opportunity to visit several towns and villages on the Ivory Coast and gained valuable insights into the raw material production and harvest up to the Processing.
The focus was on visiting the cocoa plantations or cocoa farmers of the cooperatives and the effects of fair trade production on the standard of living of the producing farmers. In addition to the life, the cultivation and harvesting methods and the customs, our students were particularly impressed by the warmth and hospitality of the people.
The visit to the largest basilica in the world - the basilica "Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix" - also left an impression and the INPHB* university offered the opportunity to make contacts with students from Yamoussoukro 🤗
Many thanks to the Embassy of Ivory Coast for making this visit possible! 😊
