"Thousand Swords" is the second album by Graveland, released in 1995. It is considered one of the most influential albums in the pagan black metal scene and is considered a classic of the genre. The album features a raw and primitive sound, with lyrics drawing inspiration from pagan mythology and European history. The album cover features an image of a Viking warrior with a sword, reflecting the overall theme of the album.

The sound of "Thousand Swords" is very distinctive, with melodic guitar riffs and fast, aggressive drumming. The album's production is quite raw and primitive, giving it a very atmospheric and dark vibe. The lyrics of the songs focus on pagan mythology and European history, with references to Odin, the Middle Ages, and the fight of the European peoples against the invaders.
