Episode 2 - Punk Goes Pop Volumes 1-3 from

With alternative music and the scene growing rapidly in the early 2000s legendary record label Fearless Records saw an opportunity to try their hand in releasing compilation albums featuring the hot alternative bands/artists at the time. But there was a catch! The bands would record covers instead of their original material (Apart from some releases)
Their second release would span a long line of their most successful comps to date. Punk Goes Pop featured bands/artists covering some of the biggest Pop songs at the time in their bands own style/genre. These albums would prove to be legendary
Join us as we go back to it's Pop Punk/Punk roots on the first comp way back in 2004. Then to the almost 7 year gap before the second release where the scene had changed massively, with the comp now featuring genres such as Post-Hardcore, Metalcore, Electronicore and more. Only a year later vol 3 would release in 2010 to kick off the new decade!!
