Resilience=
the capacity of a person to recover from any form of shock and trauma and life event.
Different and individual for each and every person.
The recovery a person does says nothing about the seriousness of what happened to the person.
It only says something on the amount of resilience.
The pain the person did endure is equally to every other person.
Just the recovery is much faster for people with a high resilience if s/he knows herself/himself what s/he needs to do to recover.
The severity of what has been done to someone is not less only because a person has a high resilience.
And this is where many people and observers do make big mistakes.
they think that if a person recovers quickly it cannot have been so bad after all.
While it is the strength and skill of selfhealing and autorecovery.
My advise:
NEVER judge a persons life events on the speed the person recovers from it.
If the person recovers quickly it just means that you have a very strong person.
One and the same life event could cause a persons death while someone else is capable to recover from it.
Healing and resilience are not a matter of time frame but of knowing what to do.
and as well there.
What for one person could be the cure, for someone else would mean death.
Unfortunately there have been people who do scientific research in a very unethical way in this world on that.
Others simply discover by themselves their own resilience.
As well factors such as a healthy nature and natural environment play a role in growing and establishing a good resilience and the authenticity of a person absolutely.
A person who is fully himself regardless and not giving a f**k about prejudices or false judgements will have always a higher resilience than a person who wastes 90 % of his or her energy to adapt to what other people wish him or her to be.
if you are just yourself you can invest all this otherwise lost energy to build your own life and invest into your strength.
This as well because a person who is forced to be someone else might have difficulties with self confidence because those who forced him or her would give him or her the feeling to be not good the way they are and that they are lacking something and therefor peple would force them to be someone else.
This has a devastating effect on the resilience and strength.
A person with a HEALTHY selfconfidence( selfconfidence = knowing who s/he is, knowing what is good for her, striving for her passions and working on her talents and future with selfresponsibility ) will always have a higher resilience than a person who has none.
Lifeevents, people, illnesses, shocks, bullying, crisis than can put her down, but s/he will always again stand up as soon as s/he has the possibility to recover in the way s/he needs it and knows herself or himself how to achieve it.
