Don't judge your value by vanity metrics. 👀

There are a few of those who get lucky and then there is everyone else who has to work hard to see growth.

But the thing is, the hard work and time to see the progression and growth is way more common.

I think a lot of accounts, including myself, can find that we are victims of comparison.
We follow accounts in our niche and when a few of them start to take off and see a more accelerated growth, we feel as if we are doing something wrong, that our slow and steady path isn't normal.

But it is. It is what most accounts experience and only the lucky ones get to see that success in terms of vanity metrics.

That being said, although you might not have thousands of followers, that doesn't mean your offer isn't valuable and that you can't see success.

Embrace where you are at.
Worth with what you got.
Set goals for where you want to be.

Here are a few tips for embracing where you are at to see results:
❤️‍🔥 Engage with your audience more and build connections with them. Those who follow you are interested in learning more about your offer and just need help along their consumer journey through your content.
✨ Create engaging content! Create content that you know will get saved, shared, or commented on. This will help you to reach a larger audience and increase your brand awareness.
🌈 Show up consistently on socials. Whether this means posting content to your feed or showing your face on your stories. Show up. Be present. Help your audience to recognize your brand and value.
🥂 Talk about your offer. Listen, if you don't talk about it then no one will know about it. Share client stories and reviews. Talk about launches and what your offer will do for your audience. Get the excited and interested.

We're not throwing wet noodles to a wall and seeing what will stick. 👀

A lot of the time, content creation *sucks* because you don't have a strategy or research backing you up. But luckily, all it takes is time.

If this sounds like something you struggle with, here is the process that I would recommend following:
🌈 Start by breaking down your brand and offer. What is your unique value? What problems does your offer solve for your audience? How does your offer compare to your competitors?
🌈 Next, learn about your audience and their consumer journey. What are their spending habits like? What is their connection to your niche? Create an avatar that describes your ideal consumer.
🌈 Then, consider your audience and their social media usage when it comes to investing in brands. What type of content do they engage with? What brands in your niche does your audience like? What content types are best for your audience? What about grammar?
🌈 Finally, when you create your content, ask yourself how this post is supposed to help you achieve your goals? How will this post help your audience along their consumer journey? Do you have a clear CTA?

Make sure to take a look at the additional checklist at the end of the carousel and SAVE THIS POST!

Spilling the secrets on how to reach more accounts with every post ☕

Are you struggling to increase your reach and brand awareness? 👀

There are a few things that can contribute to the success of your reach, but it's important that we break them down and addresses each thing individually.

What we're talking about today is SEO and how that helps your account and content to reach a larger audience through searchability and appeal to the algorithm.

So what is SEO?
👉 Search Engine Optimization (SEO) really just means using keywords and phrases that your audiences use strategically to help them find your account or content.

More simply, it means to use the words and phrases that your audience uses when searching for your offer or something in your niche within your content.

How does it work for searchability?
👉 As mentioned above, those terms and phrases are what your target audience is using to find accounts and offers within your niche. By including them in your content, it will help your page or content to appear in their search results.

How does it work for the algorithm?
👉 The algorithm takes those keywords and phrases, categorizes your content and page, and uses that information to show your content and page to users who might be interested in your offer and content.

What questions do you have about SEO and strategy?

With 6 months left of the year, it's time to revamp our social strategies. ✨

Some things that can help you to fill out your content calendar and speed up the content creation process are:
🌈 Create a list of content ideas: this could be in your notes app or a saved folder on IG.
🌈 Batch your content: set time aside within your day when you are full-on motivated and dedicated to creating your content.
🌈 Repurpose past high-performing content or repurpose content into other content types. (blog to video or video to carousel.)
🌈 Create post templates: these are helpful for staying on brand and just plugging in the information for that specific post.

Something else that works well for me is breaking up the content creation and posting process. I spend one day creating the visuals and another day writing captions. This helps with my focus and creativity!

What makes your content calendar and creation process unique?

You can't expect your social strategy to last a lifetime. 👀

At some point, the growth spurt is going to level off.
The engagement is going to become stagnant.
The pitch will start to get old.

But, the good thing is that we know WHY these things are happening.

A lot of the time, it can be because you haven't been investing time, energy, and creativity into your social media presence and strategy.
But, it can also be because you haven't been trying or testing anything new.

Just as your audience and the platform change, so does your social media strategy.

Some other things you might want to include are:
❤️‍🔥 Review your systems and processes (are they working for you? are they helping you to work more efficiently?)
✨ Position your brand as an authority (how is your progress with that? what content could help you to build that?)
🌈 Are you posting enough content to build connections and get more eyes on your content & page? (are you posting enough content for your growth goals?)
🥂 Have you revised your pinned and highlighted content? Does it showcase the most important information that will benefit your audience?

You might feel like a hot mess, but it isn't you. It's your system + processes. 👀

Without the right methods in place, social media, management, and creation can be a draining process that can affect your consistency on social media.

But imagine if you...
❤️‍🔥 Used time-blocking to schedule your day and set blocks of time for each task you need to get done that day and ensure each day is productive?
✨ Had a system for organizing, planning, creating, optimizing, and scheduling your content and ideas so that your message always connected with your audience?
🌈 Created an optimization schedule where you review and edit each of your strategies for your changing goals, platforms, and audience?
🥂 Made time to review your analytics, learn about your audience, and tested new things within your content and strategies?

Social media is not as simple as it seems.
There are a ton of moving pieces and it can be hard to stay on top of it all.

My suggestion: Create processes. Set boundaries. Optimize and keep going.

Threads is a brand-new social media app that is making it impossible to get work done (but we love it.) ✨❤️‍🔥📱

Instagram's newest baby, threads is a new text-based app where we can come together to chat about "the topics you care about today to what'll be trending tomorrow."

If you are wondering whether or not you should be joining threads and how to use it for marketing, let me break it down for you:

SHOULD:
👉 Do you want to build more honest and personal connections with your audience?
👉 Do you enjoy creating humorous and relatable content?
👉 Do you love the SOCIAL side of social media?
👉 Are you looking for networking opportunities?

Now, the app has only been live for a day so things are bound to change, but what's the harm with jumping on and joining the fun?

If anything, it is a learning opportunity that can help you to discover aspects of your brand that you might want to include on more platforms than just threads. (talk about adding a little more personality to your content, LOL.)😂

But, as a friendly reminder, don't stress yourself out if you don't have the time or energy. Focus on what you need to and handle what you can.

What are your thoughts on THREADS? Let me know if you have joined!👇

Want to create binge-worthy content? Me too. 👀💭⚡️

Okay, just because one of my first tips is to create shorter content, that doesn’t mean long-form content can’t be binge-worthy.

Any content can be binge-worthy if created in a way that is enticing to your audience.

I saw this post the other day that said something similar, and I was like “Oh heck yeah! I am the QUEEN of long-form content lol.” 👑

I find that my content tends to be a lot more valuable if I go a little more in-depth and explain the why and how but for other creators, I find that their short-form content is some of the MOST powerful content out there.

It really depends on what you are capable of and what you find you can make the most valuable.

Learning how to make bing worthy content takes time - so don’t be upset if you aren’t catching any binge watchers.

Test out a few content types and see what resonates the most with your audience as well as what content types are a good reflection of your brand and showcase your value.

What content do you find yourself binge-watching or reading? 👀

I don't know about you, but I post to see results on social media. 👀

And that means, I want to improve where I can so that I can do my best and give my best to my audience.

And the thing is, the simplest things can affect your growth on social media.

For me, scrolling was it.

Okay, of course, I still scroll today.
I freaking love social media. 🫶

But, I used to:
👉 Look for content inspo all the time
👉 Study other accounts in my niche and compare our value and strategy
👉 Spend WAY more time scrolling than I did creating content and optimizing strategies

And now, I scroll to engage, get updates, and be entertained. Period. That's it.

And the thing is, growing on social media takes TIME. ⏰

I made more time by limiting my scroll time, then using that scroll time, I optimized my strategies and process which then gave me even more time.

Talk about a win-win-win plus all the good vibes and energy. ✨

How does scrolling impact your social growth?

The way to blow up your account is not what you think. 👀

Although consistency and strategy are literally GOLD for getting results on socials (and I'm definitely not saying to throw them out the window 🧱🪟), the best way to grow your socials is to create a space that people want to be a part of.

In the carousel, I talk about how you should want to become the reason your audiences use social media by creating experience-worthy content.

But what I didn't talk about, and what really is going to help you create that special space is through the relationships you create with your audience.

That is what really makes your brand attractive to potential followers and customers is when they see that you value your audience and give them special attention.

Some ideas you might want to try are:
💌 Best Friends Stories: use this feature and add some of your most active followers! This can be a space where you share exclusive info and sneak peeks.
💌 Facebook Group: use this as a space where your more active audience or influencers and UGC creators can chat with one another and you can share insider info.
💌 Share Content: share the content that your audience tags you in on your stories or in your feed and make sure to tag them back! Make it something that you invite your audience to do and get them excited to be featured.
💌 Use their ideas: some brands will ask their audience to name their next product or give ideas for certain services. Take those ideas and give that user some credit by tagging them in the launch!

What unique ideas do you have for building strong connections with your audience?

We're calling it: the secret to organic growth on socials. 👀 🌱✨

Besties, on top of everything I mentioned above, one thing we are not going to neglect to mention and we need to talk about is how VITAL outbound and inbound engagement is.

Inbound: What we do to nurture our audience.
Outbound: I like to call it "free advertising."

This is often put on the back burner by businesses and brands. But if you do the "heavy lifting" by taking the time to engage with your followers and brands in your niche or related to it, that's when you will start to see results. 💸

Inbound: When you engage with your audience, it helps them along their consumer journey because they have built trust and a connection with your brand. They also are more likely to share your account via WOM.

Outbound: When you engage with other accounts, it helps you to build connections with reputable brands in your niche which can help to build your authority. It also has the potential to reach that account's followers who are already interested in your niche, giving your page a chance to be visited and followed.

We are halfway through the year! Are you seeing results on socials?
If not, optimize your strategy with some of these tips! ✨

Content Creation Sucks ..... bc we aren't doing our part. 👀

My tea for the day: Content creation shouldn't suck, and it should actually be fun or at least somewhat easy to do. ☕

The only reason content creation sucks is that we aren't putting in the work and being aware of things that need improvement.

Content creation can be an "easy" process if you put in the work beforehand and optimize when needed.

In addition to the tips above, here are some ways that I have been able to make the content creation process smoother & more enjoyable:
👉 Templates: These literally save lives. Okay, obviously not but they make content creation so much easier. Create a variety of branded templates that you can reuse and reuse over and over again.
👉 Content Lists: I will always recommend keeping a running list of content ideas. I have a list jotted down in my notebook. I have a saved folder on IG where I save posts from other creators that I want to use as inspo. I even have a folder where I save my own content that I want to repurpose.
👉 Rebrand: Listen, sometimes the content is just not *giving* so it might be time to give your brand a fresh look. As terrifying as it is to launch new branding if it is something that you are passionate and excited about, your audience is going to love it as much as you do.

What tools do you use to help make content creation an easier or smoother process? Drop your recs below!

Not me over here giving you these fire content ideas.❤️‍🔥

Although you might have great content ideas that offer a ton of value, that isn't enough to stop their scroll.

What really is going to catch their attention is this one thing: THE HOOK.

There are a variety of strategies you can use when crafting an enticing hook, but here are a few to consider:
👉 Controversial: Create a hook that is controversial to something that a majority of your niche believes (it doesn't have to be what you believe! Just contradict what you said on the next slides.)
👉 Results: Talk about the results that you know your audience wants and made them GOOD. For example, take a look at the hook I used on my 10K followers in 3 months. ABSOLUTLEY insane but something that I know my audience wants (or thinks they want.) 😉
👉 Do This: Say something like "do this to get this" for a list, a how-to, or a simple task. This is super appealing to your DIY followers!
👉 Use power words: What I mean is use words that are going to pull at an emotion. Words such as FREE or Limited Time or Discount are great for building interest.

What hooks ALWAYS get your attention?

We're calling her, "mini hook." 🥹

There's a lot of emphasis put on your first slide hook, but what about the second slide hook?

Despite what you might think, the algorithm is actually on your side and is always putting in the work bts.

When users scroll through their home feed and skip your post, the algorithm gives your post a second chance. 😇
The next time that user scrolls through their feed, the algorithm will show them the second slide of your carousel.

So what does this mean for your second slide strategy?
👉 "mini hook": include a hook as enticing as the hook on your first slide but with more details about the value of your content.
👉 Design choices: what design is going to catch your audience's eyes? Something with more white space? Something with bright colors? What appeals to your audience?
👉 Value: share a snippet of the value that your audience can get by consuming the entire piece of content. The important thing here is getting your audience to spend time with your content (bc of our knowledge of how the algorithm works 😉)

SOMETHING TO CONSIDER👇
I have seen a lot of content creators turning static posts into carousels where they either change the color of the font and/or change the background photo so that their post has multiple chances of appearing in their audience's feed. (SERIOUSLY SO SMART! 🤯)

Does anyone use this static-turned-carousel strategy? What are your thoughts? 👀

Consistency is not a social media strategy. 👀

Because consistency isn't going to solve all of your problems if you have a broken social + content strategy.

What is going to fix the problem and get you results: TIME. EFFORT. OPTIMIZATION.

Consistency can get you results on social media, but if you are posting consistently posting content that lacks strategy, you aren't going to get the results you are looking for.

So here's what I would recommend CONSISTENTLY doing:
👉 Consistently share your brand values
👉 Keep your brand tone + vibe consistent on each post and in each caption
👉 Keep your brand design consistent to make your brand easily recognizable
👉 Consistently share value in every. single. post.
👉 Consistently engage with your audience

I know that there is no such thing as a SIMPLE social media strategy, but what can help you to manage all of the moving pieces and multiple strategies is creating systems and processes.

Here's what I would create:
✨ A Content Creation Process
✨ A Content Creation Schedule
✨ Optimization Days
✨ Engagement Schedule
✨ Ideation Days

What systems and processes do you have in place so you can consistently share value? 💭⬇
