Discovering Lisbon’s history, one landmark at a time 🇵🇹✨

Took a Tuk Tuk ride with through the vibrant streets brought me to the breathtaking Belém Tower, a 16th-century fortress that once stood as the guardian of Lisbon’s harbor. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a symbol of the Age of Discovery, marking the spot where Portuguese explorers like Vasco da Gama set sail on voyages that would reshape the world. Standing here, it’s impossible not to feel the weight of history and the spirit of adventure. 🌍✨

Nearby, I visited the Gago Coutinho Fairey-Seaplane Monument, which honors the brave aviators who made the first aerial crossing of the South Atlantic in 1922, flying from Lisbon all the way to Rio de Janeiro. Two landmarks, each celebrating Portugal’s bold and pioneering legacy, just steps apart.

United Airlines has expanded its European holiday flight schedule due to increased demand, particularly from travelers interested in Christmas markets. The airline reports a 30% increase in bookings for European destinations compared to 2019, with travelers drawn to iconic markets in cities like Dresden, Vienna, Strasbourg, and Cologne. This holiday season, United is offering nearly 60 daily nonstop flights to Europe from U.S. hubs, more than any other U.S. airline. They are also collaborating with Lufthansa Group and Deutsche Bahn to connect travelers to additional destinations via rail, enhancing access to holiday markets across Europe.

Exploring Lisbon’s iconic Pink Street, a vibrant gem in Cais do Sodré! 💕 By day, it’s the perfect spot to snap photos on the bright pink pavement and under the colorful umbrellas, while by night, it comes alive with music, bars, and so much energy.

Filipe, my awesome Tuk Tuk driver, took me on an unforgettable ride through Lisbon! I asked if he would take me to the famous Pink Street with the colorful umbrellas, and he went out of his way to make that special stop happen. He was such a fun guide, sharing all the hidden gems and stories of the city. Lisbon truly came alive thanks to him! Obrigada, Filipe! 🇵🇹💕 LisbonVibes

Flashback to this unforgettable moment in Madrid! 🇪🇸 My Tuk Tuk driver, Carlos, was snapping a photo of me with the stunning cathedral as the backdrop when suddenly another Tuk Tuk zipped by. The driver called out to his passengers, ‘And here we have a Panda!’ 🐼😂 It was such a random, cheerful moment that had everyone smiling. These are the moments that make travel so special!

Spent the night unwinding in the heart of Seville at AIRE Ancient Baths! 🌿💧 From the soothing baths to an incredible massage, it felt like stepping back in time and escaping the world outside. The ambiance here is pure magic – candlelit halls, the soft sounds of water, and that ancient architecture all around. The rooftop view of the Cathedral while soaking in a hot tub, drinking champagne and eating chocolates, was absolutely magical. If you’re ever in Sevilla, don’t miss this oasis. ✨

✨ Inside the haunting remnants of Monte Palace, an abandoned hotel in Sete Cidades. Once a luxurious getaway in the 1980s, it boasted breathtaking views and vibrant gatherings, but it closed its doors after just a few years, leaving behind echoes of its former glory.
