Weird ATX A small collective of paranormal/parapsi researchers. We are a small group of curious minds, knowledge seekers, and critical thinkers.

Our combined interests span all things weird and strange. We are not purely the ‘ghost hunters’ you see on television, though paranormal investigations of similar sorts are a tool we may use. We think and act scientifically, but are not always faithful to the scientific status quo. We are occupying a space that is not pseudoscience, but protoscience. We are historians, researchers, and archivists;

if you see something weird, something unordinary, we want to hear about it. What we are not:

We are not offering a service. We are not demonologists, or clergy, and we cannot banish or remove spirits. We do not view anomalous phenomenon from the view of any specific religious lens. For too long, paranormal circles have focused on concepts borne from a conglomeration of Western Civilization and Hollywood movies. We do not have all of the answers. Here’s a great video from Olde Park Hotel, shot in 2020, in the “Bordello” room. After turning in for the night I decided to do some journaling about my experiences. I did not discover the camera had moved until I was back home in Austin! From this video you can see my infrared GoPro (cube shaped camera) slowly turn on its face. Anyone with a GoPro will recognize this as odd, since the camera has hard edges that won’t softly turn, it is tilt-and-fall. The second half of the video shows the vantage point from across the room toward the GoPro.
