Looking beyond Party lines.

Like I would always say that it's high time we look beyond Party lines, political alignments but State policies if we must make Nigeria State work. Although the Tinubu's administration may seem a bit doll in implementation of certain State policies that would enhance the economic growth. But has ensured systematic implementation of State policies that would create independency of Local administration , which would tend to bring the government to the grassroots. The Country Nigeria today is beyond infrastructural projects that will serve for specific purpose but policies of general purposes that will stand to self generate , stare the economy from time to time.

Some of these policies are:

(1) The independent, autonomy of the Local Government administration. Listen, this policy is completely misunderstood, as many keep looking at it as a political motivated policy. That is targeted to gain the support of the grassroots or destabilize, weaken certain political stronghold of the opposition. They fail to realize that this policy if fully implemented would not just become directly piloted by the grassroots but give the people the choice to make and implement decisions self oriented ,generated, deciding their future through direct policies.

(2) Regionalization.

Of course the last time regional government was operated in the Country was at mid 70s. Which so many had attested was the only time the people were allowed to take decisions by theirselves and create the future they desire through regional, ethnic agreements. And not one influence by political or population. And if you study the Regionalization of the 70s very well, you would realize it was without strong policies that could have stared self realization , it's sustainability and also collective economic growth but one with so many sentiments, ethno-religious differences. But today, we have the independency of Local Government administration, A new Tax reform policy to complement it and ensure self realization, grow Regional Economy and sustain policies of collective purposes . If properly implemented.

(3) The New Tax Policy.

Except we look beyond political sentiment we may likely not see what we stand to gain through the New Tax reform policy . Some of the regions have stood against this policy as it seems targeting at its population and showcase it's shortcomings but this may certainly not be so or what this policy may seem to target or achieve. Although, we agree this policy would also expose the injustice in the Tax system of the Country. As it will expose certain lapses and what may seem economic unjust sharing formula, which the Country have for long operated. But note that it will Create an indirect Resource Control policies, which has been a major clamour of certain Region of the Country. This would also enable us get back at work, diversify and ensure certain economic system that would help the Regional growth institutionalized.

(4) Regional Domestication of the major Nigeria Financial Institution etc.

(5) Equalization of Nigerian States in all Regions. Creation of a New State to ensure that all Regions gets equal States in the Country would also corb the clamour , agitation of State marginalization and economic sharing formula. This would certainly stabilize the Country and allow all regions work through its self and central generated policies that would not just ensure self realization but keep policies that would boost and make a Regional competitive economy .

(6) Independency of Local Electoral umpire, equalization of major Academic and professional Institutions etc . Are also policies the government has put in place that would clearly ensure equal education intervention, enhancing regional independence.

So that if all these policies and many more not enumerated here are properly put in place and checked this would pull the Country through and stabilize its future.

Although the Government seems to be doll in implementation of quick and effective economic policies that will stare up and get the economy on track, corb hardship. The government must as a thing of necessity clearly state it's economic growth policy, as this area seems be lagging. Injections of professionals, economist pilots would ensure a stabilization and growth of the economy .

WIKE'S STATEMENT AGAINST ODILI FACTUAL, NOT DEMEANING.

Why are fight over nothing. Nigerians knows the truth but always try to circumvent.

Call a spade a spade.
We all know that Chief, Odili's utterances over Wike was not only wrong, defamatory but also inflammatory.

How do you accuse a man who has served in same capacity as you in the State and even a two time Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to have intended to turn the State Treasury into personal Estate if not his predecessor . This is demeaning, puts Chief,Wike in a corrupt touch light.

And then you expect him Chief, Wike to keep quiet, when you practically know that silence means acceptance. When some of you have even gone to overblow this statement in various Media platforms

Come to think of it. Was Chief, Nyesom Wike's reply wrong. Is this not factual and before us. Did he made any accusations not known to Us.

(1) Is Chief, ODILI not the Head of Governor Siminilaye's government. I mean, politically.

(2) Is Chief, Odili's Daughter not a High Court Judge in the State.

(3) Is another of his Daughter not a Commissioner in the same State, even when he is married out.

(4) Is Chief, Odili's wife not the Chairman Rivers State University Governing Board .

Now where is the lies . I thought that at this time it is proper for us in Rivers State to investigate and evaluate Chief, Wike's statement of Nepotism against Chief, ODILI. Rather than casting aspersions on Chief, Wike. When we all know the truth.

YOU ARGUMENT SHOULD HAVE BEEN.

(1) That the appointments of the both COMMISSIONER and JUDGE , were made by Chief, Nyesom Wike and not Siminilaye Fubara.

(2) That Chief, Nyesom Wike-CON, actually brought back Chief, Odili into a major political stake today in Rivers State, which Governor Siminilaye only inherited.

(3) That Chief, Wike cannot APPROBATE and REPROBATE at the same time. That calling out Chief , Odili's family means exposing his government.

Instead of Demanding useless apology. Apologies for what. For a wrong saying or untrue statement in Rivers State.

IN A CIVILIZED ENVIRONMENT.

In a more Civilized environment, it now behoves on Chief, Odili, to either resign or ask any of his children or the wife to do so.

Note that both Chief, Odili and his family have right to hold any position in the State but not one which will mean, or seem to appear as practicing NEPOTISM.

So, all the media ranting are not call for.

~~ EZE-OHALI VISITS THE OLDEST MAN IN OHALI ROYAL KINDRED.

The Eze-Ohali, His Royal Majesty Eze (Dr) Chima Nwajari, over the weekend paid a Royal but unscheduled visit to the oldest man in Umu-Ohali Royal kindred, Elder, Owurre Nwa-jel.

Eze-Ohali, who expressed his happiness seeing him hale and hearty even at the very gray age, thanked God for keeping him this far and prayed he remain strong as there are too and many things to tap from his wisdom. He however urge the people of Ohali and in extension the Ogba in general to always support him both financially, Medically , as much as you can afford as this may also mean tapping longevity.

Elder Owurre, in a response thanked the Ohali-Ukwu, for the surprised visit. He expressed overwhelming joy having him come around. Elder, used the opportunity to thank him for the numerous supports rendered not just to him alone but also to the entire Kindred and the Community at large. He also extolled his efforts in working with the OBA for the greatness of the kingdom , especially in the customary reforms.

FG FILES 2 FRESH CHARGES AGAINST EMEFIELE.

The Federal Government has filed a two-count charge of illegal possession of fi****ms and ammunition against suspended Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Godwin Emefiele, before the Federal High Court in Lagos.

The FG, in the charge sheet seen by Channels Television’s judiciary correspondent, accused Emefiele of possessing a single-barrel shotgun (JOJEFF MAGNUM 8371) without a licence.

The government maintained that the offence is contrary to Section 4 of the Fi****ms Act, Cap F28 Laws of the Federation 2004, and punishable under Section 27 (1b) of the same Act.

In the second count, the suspended CBN Governor was accused of having in his possession 123 rounds of live ammunition (Cartridges) without a licence, which is contrary to Section 8 of the Fi****ms Act Cap F28 Laws of the Federation 2004 and punishable under Section 27 (1)(b)(il) of the same Act.

The case is yet to be assigned to a judge, but there are indications that this will be done next week.
