Kicking off with a luncheon at the Gunbower Complex for life members advertising and sponsors. Senior players joined in for the speech's. The day was topped of with a solid win over North Bendigo.

Greg Symes, Doug Hawken, Dominic Baxter, Butch Gladman, Mayne Brewer and Marty Lawrence who started as a 14 year old. It has been amazing journey since our first call on Power Country FM. Each year we present the boot award to the winner of our votes.

Our day started out on a negative note, with two of our broadcast team unavailable, and we had to search for a new location for our van as our normal one had changed, we finally settled for under the score board, thanks to Matt, Marty and myself we managed to pull it off.Just a shame that the second half was such a one sided game.

Our day at the footy, our generator hasn't missed a beat in almost 10 years of Broadcasting, what makes it more impressive, we only payed $200 for it. The 1992 Thirds celebrated their 30 year reunion with a lunch at the Leitchville Hotel, and the sun came out, after overcast days and cold weather. And finally the boot is back where it belongs, the Leitchville Hotel.

After inquiries into the Telstra tower coverage at Mr Pleasant (Tooleen) we won't be broadcasting Saturday. Optus has upgraded and has good local coverage. But that doesn't help us with poor coverage at the football ground with Telstra.

15 years ago Greg came to Leitchville and was starting up a radio station. He asked around if anyone involved with the local FC who could get a team together that could call the local games at only home games. That's where my journey with radio began. Not only did we do home games we traveled as far as Balranald NSW in the Central Murray League and as far as Heathcote in the HDFL. We have had many upgrades such as from a blue caravan, Gus the orange bus to now Ben the bus. We still have the main crew who have been with us since game one. Dom is a fantastic game caller, Butch with special comments and Marty who calls the board and keeps score. Mayne is the outside broadcast manager. Greg is running the hub via the internet.I run the broadcast inside the bus on the mixer. Both Butch and myself do broadcast live with the largest country music from the USA and Australia and Canada. We are now organizing for the 2022 season. Advertising has kept us being able to broadcast over the years, but the corona virus has made things a little difficult with numbers becoming a little thin. We have had great support from businesses who have been with us, since our first broadcast began.
We now can be heard all over the world. So we have come a long way since then.
