It's 7:00 AM. My alarm blares like a foghorn. I fumble to silence it, careful not to wake my wife. For a blissful moment, I consider hitting snooze...
But then reality crashes in like a toddler with a tambourine โ I'm a dad, and mornings wait for no one.
7:05 AM: I stumble to the kitchen. My feet navigating the minefield of toys left from last night's "five-minute cleanup" (spoiler alert: it wasn't five minutes).
The coffee machine grinds to life โ my only loyal soldier in this daily battle.
7:15 AM: Armed with liquid motivation, I start making lunches.
Somehow, we're out of everything. Note to self: "Do grocery shopping."
This gets bumped to the top of today's to-do list. Again.
7:30 AM: I take a deep breath, channelling my inner cheerleader. "Rise and shine, team Dean!" I'm met with groans that would make a zombie sound chipper.
7:45 AM: Breakfast time. Or, spill all the food on the table and not manage a single bite time.
Note to self: "Clean that later."
8:00 AM: The Great Clothing Debate begins. Apparently, we've run out of "comfy" pants and "non-itchy" shirts. I make a mental note to invent softer fabric โ it could be my ticket to early retirement.
8:15 AM: Backpack hunt commences. How can something so large vanish so completely? After an expedition that would impress Indiana Jones, we locate it โ right where it's supposed to be.
8:30 AM: Teeth brushing time. I consider setting it to music next time. Maybe a two-minute guitar solo would make it more appealing?
8:45 AM: We're in the car! Victory is... oh wait, forgot to grab the bags. Why didn't they get them? Right... why would they.
8:55 AM: School drop-off. I watch my kids walk into school, a strange mix of relief and nostalgia washing over me. They grow up so fast, even in the mornings when time seems to stand still.
9:00 AM: I'm back in the car, heading to work. I catch my reflection in the rearview mirror โ there's toothpaste on my shirt, and I'm pretty sure I'm wearing two differ

Branding is more than your logo.
Branding is an emotion.
It's an experience.
It's a relationship.
It's a memory.
It's a story.
Having a clear vision keeps you focused.
What gets you up in the morning?
If you have no reason to get out of bed...
You aren't doing enough stuff that builds a better you.
Should you niche right down to a single topic or idea as a content creator?
Despite what so many people may tell you...
No.
In fact, no personal brand should niche down to one very small bite or topic.
As a personal brand, you should consider YOU the niche.
Not the content you create.
Yes, you can teach one topic.
You can create your core content about one topic.
But, make sure you're also showing people who you are as a person.
If your content is about fitness, but you're also passionate about My Little Pony...
Then, make content about fitness and add some sharing your passion for My Little Pony.
This will help you find an audience of Super Fans who share your passions and truly connect with you.
Be yourself.
Do your thing.
Your audience will come...
Ine who likes you for the genuine you that you are.

As a parent, it often feels like it's impossible to find time for ourselves.โฃ
โฃ
And when we do, it almost feels selfish. As if we can't take that time because there are still so many other responsibilities.โฃ
โฃ
Weeds to be pulled. Lawns to be mowed. Dishes to be cleaned. Washing to hang out or fold.โฃ
โฃ
Everyone says, "Just wake up earlier and go to the gym, or go for a walk." But, you already only get four to five hours of sleep.โฃ
โฃ
You're tired.โฃ
โฃ
You're exhausted.โฃ
โฃ
But let's take a moment to acknowledge something crucial.โฃ
โฃ
Amidst the chaos, you're doing an incredible job.โฃ
โฃ
Every dish washed, every lawn mowed, and every moment spent attending to your family shows how dedication you are.โฃ
โฃ
Self-care isn't selfish; it's a necessity.โฃ
โฃ
It's okay to find time for yourself, even if it's just a few stolen moments.โฃ
โฃ
Remember, you can't pour from an empty cup.โฃ
โฃ
By taking care of yourself, you're not only earning back your energy but also setting an example for your loved ones about the importance of balance.โฃ
โฃ
So, embrace those stolen moments, whether it's a quiet walk or a few pages of a book.โฃ
โฃ
You deserve it.โฃ
โฃ
In those moments, find solace and recharge because a well-nurtured you is a beacon of strength for your family.โฃ
โฃ
You're not just tired; you're resilient.โฃ
โฃ
Keep going, for you are doing the best you can in the beautiful chaos of being a parent.
