It's our nomadiversary!

I can't believe we have lived and traveled in our 5th wheel for a whole year.

It has not always been easy, but it is still the best decision we ever made for our family. We have no plans to stop anytime soon, and we're looking forward to seeing what the next year brings us!

This beautiful photo was taken by our good friend a couple months ago. Swipe to see where we started ❤️

So grateful for this life we chose.

A beautiful day with friends on Diablo Lake in . We parked at the Colonial Creek South Campground day use area. Tip: get there early on the weekend, because it is very popular! There is a decent parking lot, though, and flush toilets available seasonally, which was really nice.

Highlight of the day: watching a bald eagle soar over the trees on the beach while paddle boarding across the turquoise water. Pure magic.

Thanks to and her family for sharing their so I could cross an item off my .

Have you been to Diablo Lake?

✨️World IVF Day✨️

Did you know that all 3 of our babies were conceived during our first IVF cycle?

I call them the triplets because it is just crazy that they were created at the same time, but born years apart from one another.

If those doctors had chosen different embryos at different times, these 3 little ones could have been born in an entirely different order.

📍 Mount Rainier NP, WA

We started at the Henry M. Jackson Memorial Visitor Center in the Paradise area of the park. There is ample parking, although it fills up quickly in the summer. They have a store, food and drinks for sale, restrooms, and picnic tables with a gorgeous view.

There are several trails available from there, so we chose two kid-friendly options:

🏔 Myrtle Falls- easy, 1 mile round trip mostly paved trail. The lower section was closed, so we could only see the top of the falls. Maybe the view is better from down below 🤷‍♀️. You do have a gorgeous view of Mount Rainier the whole trail, and in the summer, it would be amazing with the wildflowers in bloom.

🏔 Nisqually Vista Trail- 1.2 mile paved loop. Beautiful view of the Nisqually Glacier and the river down below, and we even got to see a mountain 🐐 using our binoculars. Half the trail was buried in snow still at the end of June, so be aware. The kids loved all the snow and it made the trail more interesting, but the snow could cause issues for some.

🏔 On our way out, we stopped by Narada Falls for a quick visit. There is a parking lot with portable toilets, and you can walk down a short trail to really see the falls and feel the mist. It does get very wet and muddy and slippery this time of year, so be mindful of that.

Some of the other activities we had planned were not available yet due to weather, but we look forward to coming back again!

🏔 Have you been to Mount Rainier? If so, what was your favorite part?

Happy Father's Day to all the dads!

To my amazing husband, thank you for being the best father I've ever met. A few reasons I love you:

❤️ You put our kids first, always.

❤️ You take care of all of us without ever complaining.

❤️ You go along with all my crazy ideas, like moving into an RV (twice 😉).

❤️ And you pull our home like a boss.

We love you so much and are so grateful for all you do for us. Happy Father's Day!

✨️ The PNW feels magical ✨️

Loving our time in this part of the country. Not our first trip, but we love it just as much as our first time.

I could sit and stare at the trees covered in moss and fungi for hours. Or sit by the river and just meditate to the sound of the water.

Have you ever been to the PNW? If so, what is your favorite part?

✨️ Don't let fear hold you back ✨️

Heading to meet up with a bunch of other families today, so this was perfect to add to my daily mantra/affirmation.

I have let my negative core beliefs hold me back from experiencing so many things in my life, but not this time.

I am letting go of fear and past negative encounters so I can welcome new experiences and people into my life.

✨️Tag someone in the comments that you think could benefit from this today.

Be in the pictures mama!

Sammy inspired me with her challenge to post a pic with her in it every day this week in honor of Mother's Day coming up.

So here is a pic of me with the kiddos. I had to dig to find it because I'm usually the one documenting all the adventures and catching the sweet moments on camera. Sound familiar?

Make sure you are in some photos as well, because you (and they) will treasure those later. If your husband is like mine and doesn't pull out the camera on his own, ask him to do it more. Or grab a tripod or selfie stick and take your own. You'll be thankful later.

Amidst the chaos of life, don't forget to take a moment and simply rest. In stillness can come your greatest inspiration.

It has been a physically and emotionally exhausting couple of months, so I am putting this out there for anyone else who needs a reminder that it is okay to rest.

✨️Do you believe this? Say it until you do✨️

I thought I had to follow a certain path in life. When things got off track, I felt like a failure. I was told I wasn't living up to my potential. But what they meant was that I wasn't living up to the person they wanted me to be.

It took a long time to realize that I didn't want those same things. That love and freedom and peace are more important to me than a fancy job and big house.

Is it wrong to want those things? Absolutely not. You get to choose how you want to live your life and the people that get to be in it.

Fill your life with positive people who support you in all things, without strings attached. Distance yourself from the people that only seem to bring you down and hold you back.

📸 from our 1st day in Yosemite. Swipe to see them all!

Our first day, we covered the Cook's Meadow Loop and Lower Yosemite Falls Trail. These are both great choices for kids and are even stroller-friendly.

We also checked out the visitors center and picked up the kids' books for them to complete.

We were rewarded with beautiful views everywhere we went. 10/10 recommend visiting with little kids!

Is fear holding you back from:

✨️Reaching your goals?
✨️Following your dreams?
✨️Letting go of a toxic relationship?
✨️Trying something new?
✨️Finding love?

Fear is powerful. It manifests in different ways. Lately, fear for me looks like being afraid to really be myself as well as being afraid of rejection (from people, brands, etc.).

If you're experiencing something similar, try repeating this mantra while meditating or deep breathing.

*Disclaimer: I am not a healthcare professional and am not suggesting life-threatening or harmful situations can be solved by a mantra.

What is fear holding you back from??

Do you struggle with this like I do?

I've spent so much of my life trying to fit in or feel accepted---with family, peers, mom groups, friend groups. I've altered my personality or clothes or whatever to be more "likeable" to these people. And I lost myself along the way.

This comes from a childhood in which I felt I had to earn love and attention by behaving a certain way. And I quickly learned that the "wrong" behavior led to being ignored or shamed or left alone.

I only recently realized this about myself, and now I am trying to figure out who I actually am. In doing that, I've also realized that I can't expect others to accept and love me if I don't accept and love myself.

This has been huge in my healing journey, because it means I am no longer chasing people and begging them to love some false version of me. I am putting the real me out there, even if that means I don't fit in everywhere.

Everyone doesn't have to like me in order for me to like myself.

Have a beautiful week friends ❤️

Homeschool looks different for everyone, but here's a glimpse into what it looks like for us!

We have tried several different ways of doing things since our oldest reached "school age." We've done online school, curriculums, unschooling, etc.

Currently, this is what works for us. We use some sort of work book or online curriculum for math and language arts and then we are more flexible with the rest. The great part about our lifestyle is we have many different opportunities for learning, either in or outdoors!

If you have any questions, ask away!

*Our resident state doesn't have many requirements, which makes it easy for us. You will need to check the homeschool laws in your state for requirements.

Learning to trust my decisions.

When we decided to flee back to Palm Desert after all the rain, flooding, and cold on the central coast, I kept wondering if we had made the right choice. I was afraid we were moving backward and wasting money on fuel just because I wanted to be warm.

But I see now that Palm Desert is just what we needed. We have been able to hang with friends that we didn't expect to see, and Willow even got to have a birthday party. The kids have enjoyed the pool a bunch. Steven was able to fix our rig. And best of all, we have all gotten to soak in the sunshine.

This is a reminder that I need to trust my gut and my decisions because sometimes it leads us to just where we need to be.

Besides, doesn't our look great surrounded by 🌴🌴

Anybody else need this reminder today?

I went out for dinner last night with friends, and struggled to find something to wear from my very minimal wardrobe.

I started to criticize myself when nothing fit, but then I stopped myself and repeated this mantra while looking at myself in the mirror.

When I feel this way, I force myself to really look over my body and send love instead of hate toward all the imperfections. Because this body has been through a lot: from years of infertility treatments to carrying three beautiful babies. A C section and 2 home births. Almost 8 years breastfeeding. This body has done so much for me and it deserves love, not hate.

Give your body some love! Drop a comment below with something amazing your body has done for you ❤️
