“God, I’m tired.”⁣⁣
⁣⁣
If you are physically, emotionally and mentally tired, it’s okay to step back and rest.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
If you are spiritually drained, or experiencing faith fatigue, it’s okay to get yourself refreshed. Take a pause. Spend time with God and let His Spirit remind you of every promises God has for you.⁣⁣

Resting is working too. It’s part of the work. When you rest, God works.⁣ Rest shows us who God is– it’s when we stop and look for Him.
⁣⁣
You’ve been pouring into others. You’ve been helping other people but you cannot pour from an empty glass. We need God. We need His presence. We need Him to fill our cups again.⁣⁣

“But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.” (Isaiah‬ ‭40:31‬)⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Empty yourself out, and let God fill you up. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
God fills. God recharges. God restores.

By being more aware of God's presence and work in our lives, we can be more open to His leading and direction.

Finally, this verse can motivate us to have faith and trust in God. When we see God making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland, we are reminded that nothing is impossible with Him. We can trust that He will guide us through difficult times and bring about something new and beautiful in our lives.

"He replied, 'Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, "Move from here to there," and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.'

But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting."

This passage is often interpreted as a call to have faith and trust in God's power, even in the face of seemingly insurmountable obstacles. The metaphor of a mustard seed, which is very small but can grow into a large plant, is used to illustrate the power of even a small amount of faith.

Additionally, the phrase "this kind" in verse 21 may refer to a particular type of demon or evil spirit that Jesus and his disciples were struggling to exorcise. Some interpretations suggest that this passage is emphasizing the importance of prayer and fasting in spiritual warfare and the need for a strong faith foundation in order to overcome obstacles and challenges.

Overall, the passage in Matthew 17:20-21 serves as a reminder of the power of faith and the importance of prayer and spiritual discipline in our lives. It encourages believers to trust in God's power and to rely on him in all circumstances, even when things seem impossible.

"Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised."

This verse highlights the importance of inner qualities, such as a woman's reverence and respect for God, over outward appearances like charm and physical beauty. The author suggests that while charm and beauty may be attractive and desirable, they are temporary and can be deceptive. In contrast, a woman who has a deep sense of awe and respect for God is to be praised for her inner qualities.

The verse is often interpreted as a reminder that true beauty and value come from within, and that a person's character and moral fiber are more important than their physical appearance or social status. It is also sometimes applied more broadly to emphasize the importance of spiritual values and character traits over material possessions or external achievements.

The verse emphasizes the importance of prayer and faith in the life of a Christian. It suggests that God is eager to hear our prayers and that if we ask with faith and persistence, we will receive what we ask for. However, the verse does not imply that we will necessarily receive everything we ask for, as sometimes what we ask for may not be in our best interests or in accordance with God's will.

The verse also suggests that we should actively seek after God's will, rather than waiting for it to be revealed to us. By seeking after God's will, we demonstrate our faith and our commitment to living according to His purposes. Finally, the verse encourages us to persist in our prayers, suggesting that God may sometimes delay in answering our prayers, but will ultimately respond in His perfect timing.

Overall, this is a powerful reminder of the importance of prayer, faith, and persistence in the life of a Christian. It challenges us to trust in God's goodness and to seek after His will, even in difficult circumstances.
