I can’t remember what book this is from as I’m not near my collection 📚 but it’s a cute one for sure! I’ve been really enjoying markers 🖊️lately and am trying to learn technique with the thick bold images and then I’ve started edging into the bigger more detailed images. I love how bright and bold this one came out 🤩🌷

Day 2/8 another finish complete from .j.dunbar book Halloween Cuties. I loved colouring this page it was super fun and a nice quick finish. I also decided to add a touch of glitter ✨ to the lolly stick for something different or maybe I just wanted an excuse to use my green glitter 😂

Day 1/8 Spoopy Halloween Colouring Finishes. This is one of my favourite finishes in a long time the colours pop soo much. I tried to add a big contrast between the light and the dark to give a bigger effect. I’ve loved completing bite sized pages from .j.dunbar book Halloween Cuties. You get the satisfaction of a finish without the need to put days and days into finishing the piece. Perfect for this week where I want to upload one spoopy finish a day up to Halloween 🎃

⭐️S T A R S H I N E⭐️

Hi all, just dropping in to ask for some advice 🙏🏼 this is from a page in book ‘Space’ I have part coloured this star with prismacolor pencils: pc993,pc994, pc995, pc931.

✏️What colours would you use for the other half of the star segments? I don’t know whether to do it the same colour but then I’m worried it will not look as affective but then I don’t want to use another colour that will take away from the pink and purples.

❤️‍🔥Can you see my dilemma lmao?. Any help and advice would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance 💝

I have been enjoying this stitchy project so so much. Seeing her face come together stitch by stitch is super satisfying and keeping me going wanting to see what it’s going to look like. Her 👁️ looks so pretty and I can’t wait to complete the other one.
I’m getting through between 200-500 stitches a day on the odd day nearly 1000

Here’s an overdue wip update for my huge cross stitch piece I’m working on. It’s been in hiding for a while but my love for this has brought it back to the front line. I absolutely love this artwork by Jasmine Becket-Griffith. I have a number of Jasmine’s colouring books and love them all. There are some marks on the left side of the fabric but that’s just because I have just taken it off the snap frame for the first time in months ( 🫣 bad I know). 🐙 U R S U L A 🐙
Another finish for the Disney Portraits books and this time it’s from The Little Mermaid 🧜‍♀️ 💝. I struggled with this one the most out of every character I have done so far in this book. I don’t even know why it was just the most challenging and there are many parts I’m not happy with but if I keep messing with it I’ll only make it worse 😂😅. All the white you see in the ocean water were printed black but I felt it made the image and the sea look too dark so I went over it all with a white gel pen with the hopes it looks like sea froth or something 😂. I’m currently working on thumper and stitch next. I love this book so much!!

Another page completed. I was undecided on whether to add a background to this piece but I think I like it without so that the gym all machine and hamster are the centres of attention. This was super fun to colour especially the hamster 🐹 which I decided to give a patch. Reminds me of my hamster is used to have called chi chi 💝

Another finish for the books! My portraits book is one of my most complete colouring books so far. I think it’s mostly down to the fact it’s a smaller size so you can get finished down quicker which is very appealing when you don’t want to spend hours on a page.

🦔A cute little finish just in time to go into December’s Crafty Completions! 🎀I tried to keep this piece full of bold blocks of colour with a little amount of shadowing to try and achieve a cartoonish look.
