We have a handful of copies of our lightweight Lasers and Feelings hack Dear Nanny Dragon, a game of mischievous dragonlings and long-suffering nannies. It's designed to be approachable for kids aged 7-107, tested below this range but not above.

Dear Nanny Dragon was printed in red and black ink with a risograph machine, by printing cooperative Footprinters. It's a single page pamphlet game which will fit in an envelope. The price on the website includes shipping worldwide, and of course you're welcome to tip, that's always very rad of you.

We still have a few misprint copies of the zine edition of /a loud noise in a quiet place/, our duet storytelling game detailing Marx's experiences with temporary hearing loss. Set up a moving story about a sudden shift in the balance of one's senses, and how it affects your experience of the world around you, and your relationships with others.

/a loud noise in a quiet place/ was successfully crowdfunded in 2021, and was finally printed earlier this year by Footprinters printing coop in Leeds using Risograph techniques.

Risograph is a wonderful and ecologically better way to print than traditional offset printing, but leads to more misprints. We believe that these misprints are just as beautiful as the normal copies, so we still make them available at a reduced price. They're $12, delivered anywhere worldwide, which is cheaper than you can get them anywhere else.

we're still crowdfunding on itch.io to pay for the development of ghostbox, a solo epistolary/journaling TTRPG of abandoned postboxes, dead letters, and hopeful senders.

choose your senders, set up a game of solitaire, and write letters to people who'll never receive them. all the while, watch your local postbox fall to pieces, or befall some other weird fate.

does that sound cool? well, check out the game at marx-of-high-water.itch.io/ghostbox. for the next two months, ghostbox will be 50% off. you'll get the "ashcan" (beta) version now, complete but not polished, and the final version when it's ready.

the final version will have editing by Sam Leigh of Blinking Birch Games, layout by MRDR HOBO's Duamn Figueroa Rassol, and illustration by my friend and long-time collaborator Nynphaiel. with your support we are able to pay all of these people for their work.

whilst we've managed to get $500 so far, the next $125 lets us pay back the fees we've paid out in the development of ghostbox so far: $63 to itch's platform fee, $44 to payment processing, and the rest to transfer fees.
