Thank you for the opportunity to share our publishing mission, children's book catalog, and some exciting projects we have in the works, in a publisher profile feature.

We are excited for the space we've carved out for ourselves in the vast world of children's literature and look forward to building upon what we've done to further amplify the experiences of children, like ours, who are growing up between cultures.

Channeling our small press power 📚💪🏾

Despite all the roadblocks and challenges we face growing in an industry run by giants, the one privilege we hold on tightly to, is the privilege to publish what we want, how we want. We are nimble, know what our values are, and are answerable to no one but ourselves, and that is a powerful thing indeed.

We are grateful to have met some really incredible mentors throughout our journey who have graciously shared with us their invaluable advice and now it's our turn...

Thank you Joe Biel for including us in this important conversation around alternative means of book distribution and for sharing a few of our comments.

If, like us, you're growing in publishing, stay tuned because we'll be sharing some great information we've learned along the way that will hopefully help you out 📚💛

Have any specific questions? Drop them 👇🏾 we'll share what we know.

🚨Paid Summer Internship Opportunity🚨

We are one of 12 amazing BIPOC host sites for ’s Erasing the Margins Summer Internship. Help us spread the word by sharing with someone who might be interested!

Our Erasing the Margins summer internship program is now accepting applications for BIPOC book-lovers, 18+ years of age.

Our ETM program is designed to disrupt the narrative that we don’t belong. We place interns of color with BIPOC mentors for a summer of learning, collaboration, and skill-building. We know that unpaid internships exclude Folks of Color disproportionately from gaining entry-level experiences, so our interns are paid for their work. Since independently owned and operated businesses are cornerstones of their neighborhoods, we partner exclusively with them when selecting our host sites. The list of mentor sites for the 2024 cohort is as follows:
