Almost 2 months ago I was playing tennis per usual and I pulled a muscle in my calf 🥹 after realizing this day I didn’t stretch and warm up fully which caused the muscle to tear. I typically do stretch and warm up fully so I know this could have been avoided! I’ve had a frustrating recovery from crutches, to a cane and then finally being able to bear weight without a limp 🤍
My PT recommended I don’t play until I no longer have pain in my right leg I no longer have “pain” but if you’ve been injured you know that’s just the first step in a recovery. Now I have to learn how to run again and move that leg like I could prior to injury, so cheers to DAY 1 on my recovery back to tennis and being able to compete next Spring!
