National Fried Quarantine

National Fried Quarantine, will be an online Zine that challenges you- any of you- comedian or not, human or animal, to make some content for the zine in 24 hours- the rules are

- The 24 hrs start on Saturday at 11 am and finish at 11 am on Sunday

- Submissions can be anything, that can be put up on a website, – but also be nice about it, and give me finished work that does not involve me being inside your head and understanding your design narrative ….
- Send your submission to [email protected] by Sunday at 11am
If this goes well, we will do it again, and when we get out I’ll publish a Super Zine with the best things as best I can.
I’ve made a little video also- do I have to much time, YES I do.
I hope your all well, and safe. Keep looking out for each other but virtually not in real life.

How are you? staying in, going nuts, not being productive, trapped, yeah me too.... but - today is the deadline of the next squib- and we will take them all and put them in a safe place, and when we can leave our homes, we will print a Super ZINE.

In the mean-time- I have an idea - and you can tell me if it's a bad idea- How would we feel if next weekend- we do a virtual hang- and we make a special digital Zine, National Fried Quarantine - made over 24 hours. Just feeling this out?

CALLING ALL COMEDIANS/WRITERS!

The National Fried Squib comedy zine is looking for contributions for next month’s edition. You can check out previous editions on our page but there is no strict format; essays, photo essays, artwork, poetry, whatever you like really, get weird with it. Just send an A4 pdf file to [email protected] before 5pm on Saturday the 21st March for consideration. (Text format for essays/poetry, ready to print for everything else)
