Saita-Verse

Saita-Verse is the name of the fictional universe, created by Greek writer Antonis “Antoine” Mallidis, with elements of action/adventure/surreal/horror genre.

Saita-Verse really came into existence in 2019, when Mallidis joined forces with Greek illustrator Dionysis Digonis (instagram: ddig_art), and self-published the first issue of Saita Comic Series.

The story follows Petros Alexandris, a.k.a. Saita, owner of “Medusa Beer and Ale bar” and member of the Order of the Snake, a mystical cult of warriors with the purpose to protect life, who relocates in his hometown Athens, Greece, to prevent the Harvesters, a secret society who intend to buy human beings by financing and investing on fascistic and totalitarian movements, and Order’s longtime archenemies, from taking over Greece and consequently the whole world.

Petros is an expert in the Order’s mystical arts and is a human/snake hybrid, specifically a hybrid of human and Platyceps Najadum, commonly known as “saita”, the fastest snake-species of all found within Greek region, from which he borrows his Snake-name.
