Lets talk about all the spider-man (Todey Maguire, Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland )
Tobey Maguire:
Spider-Man (2002), Spider-Man 2 (2004), Spider-Man 3 (2007)
Why we love him: Maguire successfully captures the comic’s geeky andy shy spin of Peter Parker’s character.
This version of Midtown High’s Professional Wallflower (as the students call him) had to hide behind James Franco’s Harry and Kirsten Dunst’s Mary Jane.
Maguire’s performance drew rave reviews, especially in Spider-Man 2 where he finds himself juggling a regular life with the demands of saving people.
And let’s not forget his action-packed fight scenes, especially the brutal clash with Willem Defoe’s Green Goblin at the end of the first film.
Why we don’t: That dance in Spider-Man 3 is hands down the most cringe scene in movie history.
He also makes an awkward lover against Kirsten Dunst’s Mary Jane.

Andrew Garfield:
The Amazing Spider-Man (2012), The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014)
Why we love him: He put an great amount of effort into preparing for the role aiming to be what he called “authentic”.
From being a science geek to the hero in fighting scenes, he certainty captured that much sort after genuineness.
Garfield had especially excellent chemistry with Stone, in a way that’s actually believable and engaging.
Why we don’t: Since he wasn’t such a social outcast before he became Spidey, there isn’t such an impact and obvious transition from zero to hero for Garfield’s incarnation.
It’s almost as if the filmmakers had to dress down the handsome British jock.

Tom Holland:
Captain America: Civil War (2016), Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017)
Why we love him: Younger, likeable, charming, witty and great fun, Tom Holland is the Spider-Man movie fans have been waiting for.
From his first hilarious scene at home with Robert Downey Jr calling him “Spider-Boy”, to his amusing quips and first-time fighting style in the Act 2 fight scene.
He’s just SO good that we can’t help caring for this affable character.
All this is aided by little welcomed add-ons like Downey hitting on his “surprisingly hot” Aunt May and giving Holland outrageous advice during the battle.
We just can’t wait to see him back alongside Iron Man in Spider-Man: Homecoming next year.
Why we don’t: We honestly can’t think of anything.
