Jumping headfirst into Spring 🦌⁣ ⁣⁣
by ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Male roe deer (Capreolus capreolus) are easily identified by their small antlers, usually with 3 points.
Additionally, roe deer typically have a pale patch of fur near their rump but no tail. Seriously, have another look!⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣

"Eyebrows are still a trend, right?" 🐧⁣ ⁣ - Oceans⁣ A rockhopper penguin (Eudyptes chrysocome) on Sealion Island in the Falklands.
The yellow crest of feathers, that look very much like eyebrows is called a supercilium and is actually a common feature in many species of bird.⁣ ⁣

Coming in for a close-up 🦈⁣ ⁣ - Oceans⁣ A juvenile lemon shark comes too close for comfort at the edge of the mangrove forests of Bimini, Bahamas.
Lemon sharks (Negaprion brevirostris) commonly spend their early years in mangrove forests. These forests provide much-needed protection from larger ocean predators.⁣ ⁣

Not the biggest wings out there....also not the smallest 🤷‍♀️⁣ ⁣ - Oceans⁣ A flightless cormorant (Phalacrocorax harrisi) dries out its stubby wings in the sunshine, on the shores of Fernandina Island in the Galapagos.
These unusual-looking birds are endemic to the Galapagos Islands and are a great example of how specialised adaptations can be, having been isolated for thousands of years. ⁣ ⁣

The Kamchatka peninsula where these ones were photographed is home to the highest recorded density of brown bears on Earth.
A population of 10,000-14,000 bears in an area the size of California. ⁣ ⁣

Battle Royal • Video by Two female tigers scrap it out in Ranthambore National Park. These bengal tiger sisters Riddhi and Siddhi have been squabbling over territory since they've been old enough to do so, according to the rangers at the park. Its not the first time they've fought, and it definitely won't be the last time. Bengal tigers are also known as royal tigers or royal bengal tigers because of their history of being associated with several ancient gods previously worshiped in the region. In 1972 the royal bengal tiger was declared the national animal of India.

The only marine lizards in the world, these iguanas brave cold waters in order to feed, but there's a time limit. Stay too long and they won't have the energy to pull themselves out of the sea. This whale's feeding hack is goals 🙌⁣ ⁣ - Oceans⁣ Eden’s whales (Balaenoptera edeni) in the Gulf of Thailand have developed a new fishing technique called trap feeding.
