This was the last sentence said to me by a business owner during the first few weeks of lockdown 1 when I'd got in touch about getting them set up online.
I'd known the business owner fairly well for a few years and wanted to reach out and help - knowing them to be something of a technophobe with a website he, frankly, distrusted as voodoo.
As we all know it didn't blow over in 3 months, it didn't even blow over in 12. When I spoke to them next they were desperate to get online but had no money left to do so.

Jargon's bu****it init.
Except when it isn't.
We all use it, we all need it (sorry), & acronyms creep in everywhere.
That's broadly fine.
The problems occur when we assume the other person knows what we're banging on about.
Take me, for example. I've been on the phone feeling grounded, confident, and in my element when the person I was speaking to threw an acronym at me out of the blue.
I had to stop the conversation to ask her what she meant.
She'd used the acronym 'MTW' in this sentence;
"Yeah, I'll get that to the team and give you a shout back MTW next week".
Can you guess what she meant?
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. 😆
I told her she used too many acronyms. She agreed and told me she had started doing it at home too. Her partner was constantly asking her what the f**k she was on about.
