As I was reading and doing my discovery questions this morning, I felt very uneasy about our response to brokenness in the world. I think our first instinct, even as Christians is to have disdain, or frankly straight hatred toward people who model the character mentioned in today’s passage.

The thing is, evil shouldn’t win! It really shouldn’t be this way! Nor should we ask Christians be so hypocritical, as if we have never done those things ourselves. (Preview of tomorrow’s passage.)

So then you tell me, how should we respond to the brokenness in the world?
