There is no blame When skies turn black No cause for shame As lightning cracks No call to fret When thunder booms Why worry now? We journey home When tides roll in No tantrums thrown At wind and rain A brief delay Caused us no pain. Accept things now. We wiped the tears When we grazed our knee Warmed our ears After snowball freeze Laughed with friends We thought we had no more Be happy now.

It’s the clouds in the sky As we walk in the breeze The squirrels we sight As we jaunt through the trees It’s the sounds of the stream By the side of our trail And the birds on the branch All tweeting their tale. It’s the smile on a face That follows a joke The listening ear When wisdom is spoken It’s the rewards of knowing Your efforts do good, Your kindness goes noticed, You gave what you could.
