What is The English Goodbook Program?
It's something you'll be proud to be a part of for years to come!
It's a-year-long program which offers 40+ sessions throughout the year to empower its members intellectually and develop their English proficiency. It aims to connect its members with like-minded friends and provide an open platform to discuss intellectual topics and practice English without the fear of being judged. Our curriculum is rich and diverse. It includes movies, books, documentaries and more. Exciting thing is that a part of the curriculum will be developed by the members themselves!

I really appreciate people who are down-to-earth despite having high self-esteem. They are confident, but they're also authentic and never put others down by bragging about their achievements.
When you face judgmental people who try to diminish your worth, it's better to simply bypass them. Their negativity doesn't deserve your time or energy, and it’s totally unnecessary to put an effort to prove them wrong.

The Story of Timi Jar!
I recently visited the amazing office of Karkhana, a social enterprise based in Lalitpur, Nepal.
In their office, there is a box called the "Timi Jar". They installed it to ensure a "fluid hierarchy" in their office. The idea is that if someone calls anyone Tapai, which means "Apni" in Bangla and "Aap" in Hindi, they have to deposit 10 rupees into the Timi Jar as a fine. They want their community members to call one another Timi, which means "Tumi" in Bangla and "Tum" in Hindi.
I could connect with this idea so much since I have always advocated for egalitarianism and promoted friendship between seniors and juniors.
They also practice some other interesting values, and I really liked them. For example, they don't use the term "team"; instead, they use the word "community" to mention any part of their operation. For example, the Partnership Community, the Finance Community, etc.
It was a fulfilling experience to meet the like-minded communities at Karkhana.
Thanks to all the friends from Karkhana, and I am grateful to Awareness 360 for giving me such a learning opportunity.
(Karkhana, established in 2069 B.S. is a social enterprise that focuses on giving students the right skills and attitude so that they can solve problems on their own and eventually build their own future. They strongly believe that makers today are the shapers of tomorrow. They closely work with school leaders, teachers and students to help them achieve their primary goals. They create learning kits (curricular, co-curricular) for middle-school students to teach them scientific concepts through making. This ‘making skill’ teaches children to be resourceful, reshape their own environment, solve problems, and makes them confident in the face of novel and unexpected problems. Their programs are designed to stimulate skills that will be relevant in the 21st Century, such as creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, risk-taking, and making skills in students. With their programs, students will utilize STEAM to help solve the problems in their own lives and communities. In other words, their programs can help students make an impact in the world through STEAM.)

I finally sold my keyboard today. It felt like I was selling my heart.
It felt really different, but I am not sad. When I bought the keyboard, I felt like a winner. That feeling always drives me forward, and I am happy about it.

I missed my bus, and he quickly booked a rickshaw and helped me to catch the bus.
It was a long day. It was a remarkable day for me as well. I bought my long-awaited keyboard (piano) on that day.
I forgot to take a good selfie with him. But this raw photo framed the story of my kind and friendly teacher very well.
I am really grateful and thankful to him for supporting me in my bad days.
(Ahmadullah Shimul sir is a Food Technology and Nutrition Science professional. He is a traveller and very good at storytelling. He can make you travel the places he travelled through his stories. I really enjoyed all of his travelling stories during my college days.)

I am more comfortable getting close to nature nowadays and learning to sit on the grass without hesitation.
Relationships are my spirituality.
Everything matters: clothes, apartments, money, cars, bicycles, instruments, gadgets, sneakers, and all the objects. But what matters the most is the relationship with living beings. Genuine connections with both humans and non-human beings are what give us spirit.
I finally realized that I deeply believe in spirituality, and It’s all about the genuine relationships.

November 18, 2021 The day I met Rumman, Simin, Zaima, Rijve bhaiya & Shomy Apu. After living two consecutive years at home, I had no idea what's going on inside my mind. I felt noob about everything. Then I had the opportunity to work with them. We had fun, we did humanitarian activities together. And It really helped me. I can't express in words how much I loved them.
