So what if I was to say there’s a new kid coming to town?

Well, maybe not ‘new’ exactly. Some may even say it’s more of a homecoming than a new arrival - the return of an old friend…..

But what if I were to say that the old friend won’t be QUITE the same as you’ve always known them to be?

All the best characteristics will be there, but with a few noticeable changes as well…

Shall I let you in on a little secret? Because you’re my favourites?

Well, after a looooong absence from the field, Blue Wren PLR is once again throwing its doors open.

The website is currently down for some housekeeping, and you may find emails coming to you from a different email marketing service. But I hope you’re as excited to see me back as I am to be coming back!

Well hello there, 2024!

And hello to my Blue Wren PLR family. I know it’s been a hot minute or two since we last spoke. But sometimes Life just happens, and then keeps happening….

Are you someone who starts off the New Year with a ‘word of the year’? A word that encapsulates what you want rejected in your year? I’d love to hear what your’s is.

Personally, I’m not really decided at this point. I’m not sure I want to commit to just one word. And there are so many words vying for my attention…..

Anywho, 2024 is going to see a re-launch of Blue Wren PLR. New products, new opportunities, and - quite possibly - a change in email provider.

So tell me, friends, what do you most want to see emerge from the Blue Wren PLR office?

Do you have something you’re most in need of?

Yes, it’s true. Blue Wren Design Studio (of which Blue Wren PLR is a part) has been officially announced as a Canva Design Community Canvassador).

Put simply, a Canvassador (or Canva Ambassador) is someone who is active in the Canva Community and embodies the Canva values.

I am eternally grateful for the support of my Blue Wren family, and the privilege of being a part of the Canva family as well.

It’s been a super-exciting week in the Blue Wren PLR office.

I’ve achieved a huge goal: I’ve been invited to join the Champions Canvassador group, and I couldn’t feel more honoured if I tried!

What does it all mean? Well, Champion Canvassadors play an important role as leaders in the Champions community, working closely with Canva to connect with and support members in the group.

I am so excited, as I love using Canva and this is a fabulous opportunity to learn, grow, and help support both the Champions community and my Blue Wren PLR family.

Next up? I’ve challenged myself to start creating educational content to help spread the .

Do you journal?

I do. I love the feeling of putting my thoughts into words. Writing those thoughts down seems to somehow make them more ‘real’.

I confess I do go old school, partly because I love to use the same type of fountain pen my father gave me when I started University. I still have the original one. It’s just that the plastic barrel was of a more brittle kind (well, it WAS the 80’s).

So I bought myself an identical one.

Hi friends! So, I’m looking for some feedback.

I’m considering adding a low-cost subscription-style option to the Blue Wren PLR product mix, whereby people could receive a package of templates monthly. I was thinking something along the lines of a workbook or collection of lead magnets, plus some social media templates.

Would that be something that you would find useful? Appealing?

Would you prefer courses on Canva? Affinity? Procreate?

Or all of the above?

Please share your thoughts - I’m really wanting to make sure I’m producing content that will help you in your business’.

Wouldn’t it be great if we knew everything there was to know?

No uncertainties. No unexpected challenges.

Except that’s not how Life works, is it?

So why do we expect that we need to know everything in business before we get started? And why do we let ourselves get distracted by the bajillion things that we *need* before we take action?

Let’s be real here - it happens to me too.

So I’m on a mission to make sure the wheels of MY business keep turning consistently: regular emails, regular product launches, regular content creation. Im even working on adding video to the mix!

Mother’s Day can be tricky for some, so I took myself on a nice evening walk to clear my mind and ground myself with the sounds and smells of waterside living. I’m really blessed to live near the water, and the amateur photographer in me rejoices with the photo opportunities that present themselves. Life is good when, as my grandmother taught me, I count my blessings. Hope your Mother’s Day was as good for the soul as my walk was.

Have you ever had a huge goal?

One that’s so big, it seems almost unimaginable to achieve?

I have. And I’ve been keeping it a secret.

However, one of the best ways to achieve a goal - scary-huge or not - is to put it in writing and share it with others. I guess it’s really manifesting…..

So, here goes:

I want to qualify as a Canva Expert.

Now I say ‘qualify’, because becoming a Canva Expert is achieved by invitation only. And it’s Canva doing the invitation….

It’s no secret I love Canva. I’ve always been creative, and creating in Canva is my happy place (well, apart from large stationery stores, IKEA and a decent bookstore).

But becoming a Canva Expert also involves teaching others.

Don’t get me wrong - I’m also a people person, so teaching isn’t something that scares me.

BUT….

I need your help.

And by that I mean, I really would love to know what your Canva pain points are. What can I help you with? How can I help make your Canva experience fun, quick and simple?

I have not just a ‘big’ hairy audacious goal, but a massive one for this year.

I want to qualify as a Canva Expert - a person who is a leader in the Canva Community, has a solid following and a passion for teaching others how to make the most out of Canva.

I received an email yesterday that asked “Are you buckling up or buckling under?”

That really resonated with me, as Life can get pretty stressful in these post-lockdown times.

However I’m choosing to buckle up, and I’m putting systems and tools in place to keep my content creation bubbling along.

I spent some time setting up my planner today, and I’m pretty happy with the way it’s turned out. (Created in , of course!)

I’m back in Sydney after an extended visit to my niece, and rearing to get going with 2022.

I’m putting the finishing touches to the next product release (with another already in production) so keep your ears to the ground…..

I don’t think I’ve ever been so glad to see the end of a year, as I was at the end of 2021.

I’m not going to tempt fate by saying ‘worst year ever’, but it sure presented me (and, I suspect, most people) with more challenges than I thought I could handle.

However, I’m just drawing a line under it and saying “It’s time to move on.”

I’m not really a New Years Resolution kind of gal. But I’ve been working on my goals for 2022 and deciding on the products I’d like to focus on creating.

There’s a whole lot of excitement happening in the Blue Wren PLR world today.

Why, you ask?

Well, your’s truly has just been accepted into the Canva Champions programme!!

To say I’m excited IS putting it mildly. There may have been some out-loud cheering. And possibly a wild dance move or two (but only my cats can tell THAT story, and they’ve signed an NDA).

What does it mean for Blue Wren PLR? It’s no secret that I’m a MASSIVE Canva fan. After all, all my products launched so far have been Canva-based. Becoming a Canva Champion means that I will be able to share a whole stack of fabulous new tips and tricks with you all, and keep you updated on new features as they appear.

I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me….
