Love Mumford & Sons. I went a little down the Jason Bateman rabbit hole today after we were talking about him on-air this morning. I found on IMDb that he did this Mumford & Sons video with Jason Sudekis, Ed Helms and Will Forte. How fun this must have been for them!

Not so sure about the other guys in the lawsuit - but I think the 18 year old who's suing has a good point. To me it looks like he had a good hold of it until black shirt guy rips it from his hand. Watch the full X video from Jomboy Media in the story right at about :18 in. We're talkin some real money for this ball after it sold for $4.2 mil.

We were talking on the air the other day on KVTA News AM 1590 about our dogs getting sprayed by skunks - and we got some questions about the shampoo/conditioner I mentioned that we use when it happens. It's happened a LOT - Big Mike has been sprayed a minimum of 6 times in the past couple of years. For ME - just a normal shower works if you get hit that badly. Sometimes an additional shower isn't necessary depending on how you're dressed - just be sure to immediately peel off all the clothing you're wearing and throw it in the wash and change into fresh clothes and you should be good after also thoroughly washing your hands.

We always have some of this on hand "just in case." We usually get it at PetSmart. Typically it takes us two washes (wash, rinse, repeat), and you have to really get in there at the base of the fur because the oil from the skunk's spray gets down in there as well. So you can wash the fur and it will likely still stink because you didn't get at the base of the skin. We found through our own trial and error that it works way better than any homemade attempt (i.e.., tomato juice, vinegar etc.) and smells better too! If you have any sure fire products or methods, please share! Good luck! Hope this helps you!

Sup Thursday! Here's our latest chat with R Scott Bolton. Several times Tom Spence has talked about this movie. Despite the all-star cast - it's not exactly a blockbuster. But the subject matter interests me very much, being about an old, long-time radio show and its final performance. While it might not be an award winner - I really enjoyed the movie. I'm fascinated by the old radio shows and how they're done and how talented everyone is/was, so I really liked it. It's more like a musical/play on film. With Kevin Klein, Meryl Streep, Lily Tomlin, Woody Harrelson, John C. Reilly and more, you know the acting overall is going to be good. The actor that I didn't exactly care for came from Virginia Madsen, who played "Dangerous Woman" - who really turns out to be an angel. Her performance was emotionless and fell flat IMO. A young-ish Lindsey Lohan is also in the cast and does a nice job as Meryl Streep's daughter. So pull it up Roku where it can be found and just sit back for 1 hr & 45 minutes on a Sunday afternoon when you have some extra time and enjoy....

Thursday's latest what to watch picks! In anticipation of football season, and thanks to Netflix telling me I might like to watch this, and reminding me of this show - I started binge-watching a series that first came out in 2006 and wanted to see, but never had the time or opportunity. The timing has now worked out, and I'm glad I took the dip in. I'm loving the series. It's "family-friendly" for 14+ as it does deal with high schoolers & adult content (s*x, drugs, alcohol/underage drinking, etc.). If you like shows like Beverly Hills 90210 or Melrose Place, then this is in your wheelhouse. Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton and the rest of the cast are great, as well as a very young Jesse Plemmons. There's 5 seasons, and about 14ish shows per season. Again, you can find it on Netflix.....
