We tend to 'Hold On' in many different cases of our life, sometimes it be love, maybe holding on to money, holding on for something, etc. In this case the term hold on has a double meaning. For one holding on to love that should be let go, and for two hold on to this project until the next one.
As you listen to tracks such as 'Best 4 U' and 'Time Apart' talk about letting love go or be stripped, while songs such as 'Promises' and 'Wasted' show more of the after math of letting go/holding on. Remember that nothing can grow until it starts to die.
