Trump being removed from social media platforms is not something to celebrate.
This is just one more step towards total control by the corporatocracy.
Social media is made up of society, yet the platforms are owned by a few unelected big tech corporations who currently have the freedom to censor who they please.
Corporate control is the major long-term threat to democracy, not some pro-Trump hooligans upset with the election result.
We need to be able to trust each other to argue our case/perspective.
The shutting down of discourse is dangerous.
It is time for governments around the world to regulate big tech before we all find ourselves completely under control of their corporate whims.
If we allow big tech to continue unchecked, we will all pay the price for accepting this censorship.
NB the bitter irony of Trump trying to censor Assange is not lost on me.

While the UK court dismissed all US extradition charges, we still have a lot of work to do for .
Bail hearing is Wed 6-1-2021
The US have 2 weeks to lodge an appeal to extradite.

It is worth noting that the charges were dismissed on health grounds, with the magistrate ignoring media freedoms arguments, but that is an issue for another day.
Right now we must keep the pressure up with & , so Julian can heal and spend time with his family an loved ones.
