Hey parents! 👋 Today, I encourage you to sit down with your kids and ask them this question:

"Will God love you more if you pray more?"

This question might sound simple, but it reveals a common misconception: the idea that our relationship with God is transactional. 🙅‍♂️🙅‍♀️

➡️ Why it's dangerous: It suggests that God's love is conditional based on our actions, which contradicts the core message of the Gospel.

God’s love is unconditional and rooted in His grace, not our deeds.

Our kids need to understand that they are loved by God not because of what they do, but because of who He is. ❤️

✨ Teach this: Prayer and spiritual practices are vital, but they don't make God love us more. They help us grow closer to Him and experience His love more fully.

Let's help our kids build a faith that's based on grace, not works. 🙏💖

✨ Did you have a chance to take a look at the Holy Week Family Challenge? It's a great way for parents and children to prepare their hearts for Resurrection Sunday by engaging in special faith-based activities, Bible readings, and worship-filled experiences.

Here's a tip for those of you who are going through our Lent Calendar. Be gentle while scraping off the mystery circles. You don't need to apply much pressure. If you scratch too hard, you'll remove ink and even a layer of paper and won't be able to read what's underneath the golden foil. You may want to use a quarter or a credit card to remove the golden layer.
