FORSAKEN is a word I wear as a badge of honor and courage. Not all adoption stories are heartwarming and happy, like mine. I have endured a life of survival, struggle and trauma because of decisions other people made for me. From what I see on social media, the only one that suffered for almost 36 years now, is me, thank you for that. These decisions don't just affect me, they affect MY children as well. They don't have grandparents, cousins, aunts etc. Thank you for that. There's more I could write, but it'd just be mean.

People love to say, "God knew what was best for you." Or "This was God's plan." Or "You should thank the Lord for your blessings!" Really people? It was God's plan for a child to be abused, berated and alone?! It was his plan for me to struggle my entire life because of my traumas and lack of personal connections? It was his plan that I have ZERO extended family and my kids don't get to experience cousins, aunt's, uncle's or grandma's or grandpa's etc? Norse Witch is what I am proud to be and I wear the word forsaken as a badge because I made it all on my own.

I hated my life so much as a child. I remember praying so hard for my freedom, but there was no answer. It was so bad I even begged Satan himself to give me my freedom or bring me to my death; he didn't answer either lol! Probably half the reason why I'm a Witch today. My belief system doesn't require me to get on my knees and ask for help, it empowers me to do what I need to.
