We picked the hottest day of the weekend to start assembling the rails. Team effort and it was still quite a bit of just erector set work. Rails are now set and the next step will be the power head and all the leveling and adjustments. Be forwarned, that one could end up a long video or split into 2 parts.

Two years ago I purchased the HM 122 with the 9.5 hp engine, sliding blade guide and the track extension options. I also purchased 5 additinal blades but after 2 years of sitting in the box, the rust may have destroyed them past repair. But the project has finally started! This video is the unboxing - a demonstration of what comes in the box and a sneak preview of the assembly that will happen in the next 2 videos.

Last time I worked with bees, I was finishing up highschool. So to start off right I do it 2 days in to teatment for Rocky Mountian Spotted Fever. Not my best idea but it had to be done. Editing the video I am amazed that the horrific amount of mistakes that I made. But I didn't get stung even though i diserved it many times. I will get better and you will see it happen on this channel.

This is one day and it was a rough one. Too much and i paid for it on Sunday. Swapping implements - finally got that post hole auger off. Mounted the tiller for the first round of roto-tilling. Finished up building a small raised bed. Its Saturday so a trip to the Bidwell Hardware was in order for more dirt. Filling the new 30 footers. Mom’s memorial tires at the end of the driveway And Sherri working on the flowers for the house bed while I nigh-on passed out sitting on the tractor.

The final warehouse exclusive update. From hereon, warehouse updates will just be included in the regular videos. We have rearranged a few things and replaced others to get more room in the liging area. Added a simple wheeled island with the propane stove and added additional shelving. Adjustments will be made, but it will just be a matter of living and and feeling out what works best for what we need.

Back in 2008 my daughter was just getting into sled dogs and wanted to race. She was part of a group called MUSH (Mid Union Sled Haulers). We didnt have the funds to buy a sled so then next best option was to build one. I took a few pictures and a few measurements and got to work.

Not much accomplished this week so far - pretty much everythin needs money so had to wait till payday. Continued work on the kitchen area with facing the cabinets and the backsplash. Hardware and implements are coming soon. Yeas this will be our next tiny-house. Move in is happening very soon. Stay tuned.

Been a busy week.... Week before Sherri finished with all the insulation so this week started with skinning the ceiling and roof with OSB. Followed that up with painting, carpet, counters and vinyl for the kitchen area. A lot to get done in 8 days. Sherri did the lions share of the work while I was doing my full time job. Much more to come .... Next week should be trim and prety work in the kitchen, and small stuff until we have the chance to run back up to Lowes or Menards next weekend.

We decided to pull some cash out of savings to get the warehouse to a get it finished to winter standards. That means installing the framing complete for the attic and ceiling systems. Originally the building came with 1 4ft loft at the far end. With this video we have completed the "loft" as a full attic reenforced with 2x6's on a 24" system with doubles rather than the orignially installed 2x4's singles on a 4 ft system. Stay tuned as this build continues!
