If you're on the fence about Click Funnels 2.0 I'd say you should stay on that fence another 6-12 months as we wait for things to get better with the software.

That's especially true for bloggers. If your main source of traffic is meant to be you writing articles, or you were just excited for blogging to finally be added to ClickFunnels, I'm sad to say that it's a letdown.

In this video, I go over all the problems I had with the software while blogging and what can be improved.

Click Funnels 2.0 is still pretty exciting and if you're not that involved in blogging I'd say it's an excellent improvement over 1.0.

If you don't know about Tiktok SEO, this video will be one of the most important pieces in terms of Geolocation based search information for the platform.

The cool thing is that it's only just begun!

"I sold my agency for pennies"

Back in 2009 -2012 I ran a one man Facebook agency. Designing pages for business/ bands and pretty much anyone I could get to buy from me.

I bumped elbows with people like Nathan Latka and David Foster who were both doing the same thing I was at the time.

I ended up getting approached by a local SEO agency who sat me down and promised me a ton sh*t.

He basically said he would make me a partner in his agency, I would run the social side and help develop the social products so they could sell it to their customers.

I was all in, I could keep up with Nathan who was developing software at the time to allow embedded custom pages into Facebook and David who was creating Hubzy which was similar.

I thought that me doing this would allow me to grow and give me the money I need to continue to pursue what I wanted.

Things were great for about a week, I came in taught a bunch of people who I thought was going to be my team at the time and showed them everything I knew. I wrote out the pricing structures, the SOPs and created a system that they could use to scale their social media marketing side of their agency.

During the sign on process I sold over my domains socialfrenzy, socialfriendzy and other social domains to them for $1000. At the time I didn't mind as it felt like a formality since my salary was decent and I was under the impression that I was getting the support I needed to really create something awesome.

After about 2-3 week I noticed I wasn't being included in the meetings and a week after that I was let go.

At the time this happened I was going through a really bad time personally and not only did I not have the money to fight it, I didn't have the will or energy.

I litterally gave away the brand I was building, all the time that I took to build it, my passion and integrity for $1000.

Pennies.

The good part about this story is that it's kept me hungry to learn more.

I ended up working for a few SEO firms, did client work. Learned more about digital marketing, worked as a Director of Online Marketing at Seacret, managed teams, launched products and even spent time doing absolutely nothing. All from an experience that was a few weeks long but that changed my whole perspective forever.

Through everything that's happened. My #1 passion has always lead me back to learning as much as possible and teaching people how to do greater things with what they learn.

"I opened my tent and there was the bear. It's mouth was covered in blood!"

Our brains love to fill in the gaps for stories. If you had just walked into that conversation with no prior context, you'd be intrigued.

Did the bear attack one of the campers?

Is everyone safe?

What happened next? 😳

The conclusion of the story very well could be that the curious bear just got into some jam that you left open at your campsite... but to the people that consume your content, you have just taken them down a story that not only sparked their interest. But made them want to learn and know more.

That is the purpose of a hook. Every video you create that has purpose should have something that setups the rest of the video.

The more interesting that hook and delivery of that hook is. The longer retention you'll have on your videos.

Here's a list building tactic that you can steal.

𝐓𝐢𝐤𝐭𝐨𝐤 𝐒𝐄𝐎 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐭'𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐲. 🤯

Sure hashtags could be considered a form of Search Engine Optimization, however, I like to think of them more as just identifiers for algorithms to group content together and showcase it to people that "Might" be interested.

𝐇𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫, Tiktok has been changing its game. Not only has there been a shift towards longer video lengths and live streaming, but both location-based hashtags and niche interests are seeing longer lifespans in their push cycles.

We're noticing that hashtags are performing more and more like Keywords and have in-depth ranking factors besides a video's initial retention and engagement #'s. 🤯

This means that getting long-term rankings on videos is starting to become possible.

I believe that within the 6-12 months we'll see a stronger push to compete with Youtube which will change Tiktok's culture with it.

- What should you be doing about this change?

I suggest slowly creating content that is not only valuable but that targets your geolocation with not only hashtags but keywords as well.

Over time, you will start to see as Tiktok shifts its algorithm you'll have videos that will consistently start to produce long-term views and be ranked within its search.

If aren't currently using SEO for location-based searches, that's fine. Think about ranking your traditional keywords and that should work just as well.

I'll post more about this topic as more information comes out or if I start to notice more trends.

If you haven't yet joined Future Content Masters I highly suggest joining it as that's where I'll be posting the bulk of my findings.
