The Jackson School District had 900-plus water sources tested for lead across all the schools. While scores of those water sources tested higher than allowable standards set by new state law, almost none of them are used for drinking. Most are from science lab sinks. The only water fountain that tested higher than the EPA's actionable standards has been removed. The district is assessing the water sources in a handful of ways.
