Zuma cited his disappointment in the current state of the ANC, stating that it is no longer the same party it once was.
He highlighted that voters had warned the ANC not to elect President Cyril Ramaphosa as their leader prior and after the 2021 Local Government Elections, but their concerns were disregarded.
Speaking at the Moses Mabhida centenary celebration at the Slangspruit cemetery in Pietermaritzburg today, Zuma criticized the ANC's response to the voters' concerns, stating that their refusal to support Ramaphosa was met with the ANC singing "We love you, Ramaphosa, Re o rata Kaofela."
This, according to Zuma, was indicative of the ANC's dismissal of the electorate's wishes
