Mclain Ward’s HH Azur to retire from the sport.

The 17 year old mare, who won both the Geneva and ‘s Hertogenbosch Rolex Grand Prix consecutively this season, is to be retired from the sport after jumping her last Grand Prix in Aachen this week.

Together with Ward, “Annie” has had an outstanding career in the sport, including winning the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup Final, the CSI5* Grand Prix of Geneva, ‘s Hertogenbosch and Rome, and finishing 9th individually at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio!

“Dear Annie, I knew this day would come but somehow you always were able to reach deep inside and achieve greatness time and time again. We all know there comes a time when your mind and body disagree but it is still hard to let go. You have given all of us so much but it's time to say goodbye to our sport and retire in good health. I knew from our beginning you were better than me and that it would take every bit of my ability to not let you down. Your wings carried all of us whose lives you have touched on an incredible journey that is the epitome of why we seek such lofty goals and pursue them with such passion. The legendary Marcus Ehning, winner of the Rolex Grand Prix of Aachen aboard the brilliant Stargold!!🇩🇪🎉🙌

It was a magical day for the home crowd, as their home hero Marcus Ehning rode three superb clear rounds, to take home one of the most prestigious trophies in the showjumping world!

Daniel Deusser and Killer Queen VDM finished in 2nd place, riding the only other triple clear of the day, with fellow countryman Philipp Weishaupt completing the all German top 3!👏🇩🇪

What a sensational win for Henrik von Eckermann and King Edward, winners of the LGCT Grand Prix of Stockholm!👏🇸🇪🏆

With the crowd eager for a home win, it was down to the Swedish riders to deliver a podium finish, and they did not disappoint!

As last to go in the jump off, the World Number 1 was under pressure from Shane Breen, however put in a stellar performance to come out on top and take home the trophy!

After the 7th GCT leg, Maikel van der Vleuten still tops the rankings, with Malin Baryard-Johnson moving up to second place.

Unfortunately, during the CSIO Grand Prix of La Baule, Explosion W sustained a soft tissue injury during the first round. He is now back at home in the UK and receiving the best veterinary care. He's happy and full of character.

I would like to thank everyone that was present, as well as the general public, for their support and kind heartfelt messages regarding Explosion. We will keep you updated along his recovery!

Scott Brash’s Hello Vincent to retire from the sport.

The British rider announced today that the 14 year old stallion is to retire from the sport, and stand at stud.

The pair have only been partnered together for four years, however have had great success in the sport, having won both the London and Lyon CSI5*-W Grand Prix in 2019 and 2021!

“Sad to say that Hello Vincent will retire from the sport however I am pleased to announce that he will be standing at stud for this season and will be available as of today at Stallion Al Services.”

Maikel van der Vleuten takes the LGCT Grand Prix of Cannes, in an exciting 13 horse jump off!👏🚀🥇

It was a spectacular evening of sport yesterday, as Maikel van der Vleuten and his Olympic ride Beauville Z N.O.P. clinched the win in the Grand Prix, against a strong field of competitors. Belgium’s Pieter Devos finished as the runner up aboard Mom’s Toupie de la Roque, with Michael Duffy taking 3rd place and his podium of the season!👏

Kent Farrington’s Austria 2 to retire from the sport.

The 15 year old mare has only been part of Farrington’s team for four years, however has had an incredible career under his reins. Her best results include winning the IJRC 10 Final in Geneva in 2019, the CSI5* Grand Prix at White Sulfur Springs, as well as having over 30 FEI wins to her name!

Marcus Ehning’s Funky Fred to retire from the sport.

The 18 year old stallion has been a part of Ehning’s team his whole career, having been bred by Hilde Ehning.

Together the pair have had many good results at the top level, such as being part of the winning team in the Spruce Meadows CSIO5* Nations Cup, as well as many Top 10 placings in CSI5* Grand Prix and World Cups!

Epaillard scores a home win in this afternoon’s Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of St Tropez!👏🇫🇷

It was a tight jump off, with the top three places being separated by under a second, but with the lightning fast Donatello d’Auge, Julien Epaillard claimed his place on top of the podium and earned himself a ticket for the LGCT Super Grand Prix in Prague!🚀
