March 23, 2023 update

I apologize for not being present and posting like I normally do. Lots has been going on, and I’ve been hella busy.

But here is the update!

I am now on week 10 or 11 I believe of Ozempic, I’m on a full dose now. I did gain a few kinds over the weekend when I went to visit family, but thankfully since I’ve been back home I’ve dropped all that new gained weight except for 2 lbs. So I’m getting back on track!

Here’s an updated photo of me back before the hospital when I was at my peak weight, and the 2nd photo was taken today march 23, 2023.

Full body photo update will happen next week on Tuesday!

Well!

Today marks the day I’m officially under 300 lbs!

I weighed in at 296.6 after I drank a bunch of liquid this morning (approx 30oz) give or take. I’m so excited!

I’m now on week 9 of Ozempic!
I don’t feel hungry in the mornings or afternoons. However I do get motion sick so if I’m doing errands throughout the day I know I need to at least eat a little something.

We are on keto still, and trying to intermittent fast. So I try to only eat between 1 and 6pm if possible. However that’s not always the case.

I’m down 20 lbs since January 3, 2023!

I’ve noticed a bit of a change so far, my family and friends see the bigger change in my face which is a excellent start!

I’ve been back on track with my water consumption and I’ve also started a workout routine. I’m following Body Project workouts Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays. On Saturdays I will be taking my dog for a nice walk to the park.

Spring is in the air!!

On Thursday I will try and get photo updates!

My journey so far

October 5, 2021 I entered the hospital. December 1, 2021 I was released.
In the hospital the nurses said I lost upwards of 70 pounds while in an induced coma for 27 days.

Today I drank less water than I normally do. Totalling in around 40oz

I’ve had a headache for 8 days now. Not sure what it’s cause is from.

Breakfast was a small bowl of Caesar salad

Lunch was 1 cup of berries with 2 tablespoons of cream

Dinner was a small steak with cauliflower rice and broccoli with cheese sauce.

Everything is keto

Sleepover at my sisters house tonight!

Decided to weigh myself again. At 7:30om after drinking approx 40oz of water, I weighed in at 297.2!

This is amazing!

I’m sticking to keto.
This is going to be an adventure!

Today for breakfast I had 2 pieces of baccon with 2 eggs.

Lunch was skipped

Dinner was a steak.

I drank approx 80oz of water so far.
Plus a glass of electrolyte booster.

Time got away with valentines.

My new weigh in was 299.4! Woohoo!!

Did my .5 ozempic shot, drank tons of liquids, had 1 cheat meal this week, stayed as close to keto as I could. Really craving yogurt but staying far away from it.

I’m single once again, and that’s okay! This time is dedicated to me! It’s time to put more focus on my health instead of making everyone else happy!

I did 20 short pushups today! It felt really good! I also did 5 burpees. Going to push myself harder tomorrow

That’s good! Down 4 pounds from last week!

Today is also the day I take my 5th shot of Ozempic. I’m alap now at a higher dosage, it’s been bumped up to 0.5 units instead of 0.25 units.

Drank 120oz of water today!

Breakfast was 4 sausages and 1 egg with dill and mozzarella cheese on top

Lunch was skipped.

Dinner consisted of 2 meatballs and 1 cup of cauliflower rice! Everything is keto.

Walked around the block today and last night, light exercise as I wasn’t feeling good all day.

Tomorrow is weigh in day! And week 5 of ozempic! I get to up the dosage to 0.5 units!

I’ve done minimal exercise this week due to cramps. But I am feeling better, so I’ll be getting back at it!

Took a melatonin last night at 9:30pm. Was out by 10:30pm. Woke up at 4:45am!

Today for breakfast I cooked up 2 thick slices of bacon, and 1 eg cooked over medium. Added dill, onion powder, salt n pepper. It was great! Ate around 9:30am.

Lunch consisted of a pepperoni stick at 2pm.

Dinner was a steak medium rare, and a Caesar salad.

I drank 90 oz of water today, and drank 2 coffee mugs of tea.

I didn’t exercise today. I had some cramps, that were making me feel uneasy.

Tomorrow is weigh in day, and week 4 shot for Ozempic!

Today i got little sleep due to cramps. So I took it easy

Walked around the grocery store for about 20 minutes, hung out with my kid sisters.

Drank 130oz of water today. Felt more motivated for it this evening. Also had 1 can diet pop,

Breakfast was 1 sausage patty

Lunch was 2 strips of bacon

Dinner was cauliflower rice with broccoli and cheese, with baked turkey breast with tomato sauce on top. Yum! This was delicious! Should have taken a picture but it was gone before I thought to! 🤣

Today I drank 40oz of water and 60oz of tea! It was fairly cold outside and I was just craving tea

Went to the pool today for 1.5 hours. Did some water aerobics on my own

Breakfast was 2 thick strips of bacon

Lunch was 1 pepperoni stick

Dinner was sausage and eggs in a keto cloud bun. It was different but tasty! However I could see myself getting sick of these if eaten too frequently.

Tomorrow my goal is to drink 120oz of water (3 water bottles)!

Today was also the day I take dose #3 of ozempic.

I’ve drank 100oz of water today (2.5 of my 40oz bottles)

Breakfast was 2 egg bites with veggies

Lunch was just a cheese string

Dinner was a steak

I also used my oculus for 40 minutes today

Every TUESDAY is weigh in day, and Ozempic injection day

I’m now at 306.8 lbs

I went up 2 pounds. But I have to keep in mind I haven’t been using my oculus this week, and I haven’t been going for walks. We also went out for dinner this week which I believe messed up the metabolism as we have been doing keto.

So in other words, today I will be starting the oculus back up and going for walks again.
