We're so grateful and ecstatic to find out that The Axe and the Iron won BEST DARK COMEDY at the Oregon Short Film Festival!

Thank you to Mikel Fair, the festival director, for putting together such an exciting and thoughtful event... Unfortunately, we weren't able to make it to Oregon for this one, but Mikel was able to pull off an actual LIVE festival during these crazy times by changing the format to a drive-in theater experience while selling out all 4 nights!

For soooooo many film festivals where our movie has been officially selected, they have been turned into online only festivals, for obvious reasons… But this is the first festival to be keeping the show LIVE...and SAFE by changing the location to a drive-in theatre! 📽 🍿 🚙 🚗

It was such an honor to screen THE AXE AND THE IRON and be a part of the HAUS Awards Online this year! Otis has really put together an incredibly supportive community of filmmakers and an exciting event that made me feel like I was actually there in person with everyone. Such an entertaining live-streamed showcase, hosted by Otis and (KLIC-B8), great interviews by with a live DJ keeping the energy going in between! Otis’s communication was top-notch leading up to the event and even afterward. Such a wonderful human being. ✨

We are super excited to announce that our short film "THE AXE AND THE IRON" just won Best Badass (Emily Yetter), Best Humor, and Best Kill at the 2020 Independent Horror Movie Awards (Spring Edition)!

It was also nominated for Best Short, Best Director, Best Writing, Best Special Effects, and Best Gore.

I'd like to thank everyone who has supported our new movie THE AXE AND THE IRON! You helped us get the necessary first 100 subscriptions on YouTube to become an official channel AND our YouTube channel got over 1000 views in the first 24 hrs! 🎉

We weren't planning on releasing this until the fall when the movie was in film festivals, but we all agreed that releasing it NOW would be the best way to help us all pass the quarantine time. Plus, it's kinda crazy how much in this fun little comedy horror actually relates to what's going on in our world right now!

We've been overwhelmed with the positive reception, comments, messages it's received. It's such an honor to know that we could bring some good laughs to you in these uncertain times. So from the bottom of my heart and the entire cast and crew of THE AXE AND THE IRON, thank you sooooo much for your continued support and helping us get this project in front of as many eyes as possible!

The day has arrived for us to unveil our newest short film! THE AXE AND THE IRON is a fun, 10-minute short that just so happens to fit in pretty nicely with the current situation in the world, though we shot it months ago!

Friends, Acquaintances and Strangers!

I recently directed and edited a short film titled THE AXE AND THE IRON. I couldn’t have been happier with the entire cast and crew. Even with the insanely crunched schedule, we managed to fill the long days on set with enthusiasm, dedication, positive energy, support, camaraderie and laughter. It was by far my favorite collaboration to date. We were a team, a family, and we all worked hard to make each other shine.

With that said, Brad Roller, Spencer Harris and I are bringing you some exciting news. Next Friday, May 1, we will be releasing THE AXE AND THE IRON. Starting today, we will be counting down with posters, clips, and behind-the-scenes photos of the cast and crew. Then, in a week, this film will be out into the world for you to see.

I am eternally grateful for this journey with all involved and can’t wait to see where this project goes.
