We'll be live shortly after 6PM to cover the Metro Council Vote in relation to the People's Consent Decree, a proposed contract that would assist in holding LMPD accountable for past and future misconduct. This process began with the DOJ announcement last year of their findings report on LMPD which discovered a pattern of various civil violations.

Over 130 dogs taken into shelter in just FIVE DAYS. Over 742 dogs in shelter care with 165 kennel design. Crates are set up in halls and offices, many are in foster care, too many are dying due to lack of space. Dogs are running loose all over the city, and WE need to stop the madness.

LIVE: Protestors have gathered outside the Van Hose building where the JCPS board is set to vote to end Bussing resources for magnet and traditional schools.
This is an attempt to ease the stress on their bussing system following a very difficult year, but many fear this will limit access to proper education for underprivileged youths.
Yesterday a 248-page audit, done by an education consulting group called Prismatic Services critiqued JCPS' current system and makes 16 recommendations on how to improve.

Kentucky/Hancock downtown Louisville...Lauren Kasdan had been feeding a stray, skittish Husky boy for awhile in the rain with no enclosure available...I rolled down to her location and joined in the fun. :) No one local knew him although he'd been around a few days, trucks were scaring him, he was VERY hungry, and over a couple of hours efforts, he eventually placed himself in a perfect catch situation where I could coach Lauren to use a cool new tool....He's chipped out of Texas? So we hope he's claimed at LMAS
