For my fellow metal and punk friends who like patches - BEWARE of an etsy store named PUNKNDEAD, they blatantly ripped off the artwork of a good friend of mine to create a patch, which means they've likely done it to many others. If you want some actual dope art on shirts, patches, whatever, contact Undead Speed Equipment :)

Have you ever wanted to write a review for that awesome record you just listened to but maybe did not want to go through the whole process of creating a page? Now you can contribute pieces to an already established site!

For the past year, the site has been run by solely myself (James) and it's time to get a fresh voice on here. If you are interested send the page an example review and let me know what kind of metal you typically listen to!

Hails, and looking forward to hearing from hopefully at least one of you!

Tales of Greek tragedy and Norse influences? Check. Symphonic blackened death metal? Check.

Foretoken are raging onto the scene with their upcoming debut 'Ruin' through Prosthetic Records. If you're a fan of bands like Old Man's Child or Children of Bodom, Foretoken will be right in that sweet spot. Also, they got Hannes Grossmann / Mordor Sounds on the skins, and that's always a good thing!

Band: FORETOKEN Album: Ruin Label: Prosthetic Records Genre: Melodic Death Metal In regard to debut albums, Ruin is so puissant I thought upon first listening that FORETOKEN had to be a band I had simply looked over in the past. That is to say holy hell, where have these boys been? Ranging from Gree...

Sad news today.

As I'm sure many of you have already heard we lost a brother in Metal. On Monday, August 24th, Riley Gale the frontman for thrash band Power Trip passed away at the age of 34. His death hits me hard - as I'm sure it does a lot of you.

None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, and we should all show each other love and compassion while we are here on this earth. The band released a statement without going to into details that you can find on other sites on the web, I thought I'd instead share one of my favorite Power Trip songs instead.

Rest in power, Riley.

French band Hadewijch have created a special release in "Herbal Noise." The singular track weighs in just shy of 19 minutes and is stuffed with emotional atmosphere that will, dare I say, heal you in a way.
