The apparitions were repeated, in the presence of ever-increasing crowds in the following months until October 13. The Virgin asked for prayers and penance for the conversion of sinners and in particular for Russia. The importance of the pilgrimage to Fatima also lies in the fact that its message is still very timely regardless of the intensity of the spiritual movement that takes inspiration in Fatima.
