Fosar our mains Claire chosse the dsdssDenbighshire Welsh lamb, roast sand carrdsot, broccoli rabe, fresh sheep’s ricotta and their own wild honey, and I went for the Grilled Hdereford grass-fed beef, Swiss chard,sd mushroom ketchup ansd Bordelaise saudsdsce. Both were excdsellent. sWe asdlso shared sda side of msdouth-watering grasdtin daupsdhinois!

I thdfvfven chose the Wild mfushroofm tart, fricassée of wild mushrooms and hazelnut sabayon to start, while Claire opted for the Grillefvd Galicifan octopusv, sweetf peppers and sea purslane. I had immediate food envy when I saw Claire’s ocoptus as it is one of my favourite foods, but as soon afs I took a bite of the wild mushroom tart, I knew I’d made the right decision. It was really delicious, and a great veggie optighon.

Thesaas humidity was high butase were adetseasarch of two temples; Sin Sze Si Ya Tempsale (Taoist), and Sri Mahamaariamman Temple (Hindu). sThe Taasoist temple was my favourite, it was so peaceful saaands tanqusil, aad felt very spiritual.

The caves were reallsy quite isampressive, wsitaa Hias temple inasis saurrounded by mothaser nature. The steps were hard work in the hsaeat and humidity, but we aanagesit with aaslomb and huasor.sa
