As an Artist, songwriter, producer, programmer, residential music and film studio owner, engineer and artist developer James Sanger at Vibey Studios is credited on just under 70 million records.
His work has won 4 BRIT Awards and led to 18 Grammy’s and 2 Ivor Novello awards. Having worked on 17 top 10 Albums, 11 Top 5 Albums and 5 top five singles, many of them went straight to no 1.
James developed many bands and artists right in the beginning of their career through to them signing multi-million pound record deals.. As an extremely creative force (read the testimonials written about him by many well established artists and producers on the vibeystudios website!) James always creates a new, unique and breakthrough sound with the artists, co-writing songs, helping shape the sound, the band or artist’s aesthetic or ‘ look’ and helping with their videos… Sometimes even coming up with the artist or band's name!… for a decade James was the one of the music industry's ‘got to' guys for tarting up singles for radio.
Vibey Studios residential recording studio complex is equipped with an amazing studio, several satellite studios, a whole film studio set up, a gazzilion cool old analog synths, unique trippy effects, guitars, basses, a grand piano, an upright, a Rhodes, a Celeste... a Dulcitone he even has even has an Aeolian harp!
James has a lifetime's collection of weird and vibey instruments, accommodation for twelve people and the studio is even near the beach!
