Psycomedy
... is a weekly podcast about the psychology of stand-up comedy from Pod People Productions (company behind Jo Wood’s Alien Nation). Presented by Nathan Cassidy, award-winning stand-up comedian and BSc in Psychology from Bristol University (First Class honours!).
Nathan talks to other stand-ups about their psychology, what makes them tick, how they handle the highs and lows and what makes them do the job. For the conversations, Nathan and the guests don’t look at each other for the duration, they lie back like on a psychiatrist’s couch, allowing them to more easily free associate.
