Why do we fear conversations about death?
Fearing death is normal, but acting like it can and won't happen, won't make it not happen. It's a part of life and we'll all face it one day. Knowing this, we have a few options on how we choose to live. You can live life on the edge, because what's the point in living if it isn't adventurous and risky? You can live life on defense and protect your bubble because you know it can burst at any moment if you don't. You also have the choice to use every day that you are blessed to have to live on purpose. Maybe even a little of all. Either way, make every day count.
is a fact and if you chose to live your life with intent and service, include talking about the things that are hard to speak on. Talk about the things most don't want to talk about. Share the things that most choose to keep to themselves. We hate to show our vulnerabilities, but someone somewhere needs to know that they are not going through things alone and that the storm will eventually end. We all face something at some point, and being able to say it out loud helps. So say it loudly and release the pinned-up emotions that are weighing you down.
Don't run from the truth. Understand it, prepare for it, but live out your life the way that makes you happy and that gives you peace.
Understand your purpose, and live in it vivaciously!
