If you don’t know already, next Sunday is Carnival Day.

The parade will start at Shire Hall at 1pm. We will travel down the High St, along Moulsham St and finish in Oaklands Park. Followed by an afternoon of entertainment.

We have over 400 participants making this the biggest one yet, so please come and show your support.

No we don’t sit on lorries but we are PROUD to be one of the first eco-friendly carnivals. We walk side by side, dress up silly, make lots of noise and create the most amazing push floats (made from re-cycled materials).

All because we just want to bring the people of Chelmsford together for a day of fun. Is that too much to ask?

We’d like to give a big thanks to our sponsors for making this possible. We are non for profit and run by volunteers but closing a road etc does
cost money. So hats off to:

Lit Fibre These guys are bringing affordable high speed broadband to Chelmsford. Look out for them.

Chelmsford For You You guys rock, thanks for your support again and helping to make things happen.

Chelmsford City Council Thank for your belief if the city’s creativity and for your support.

Zambrero Your burritos are sublime. Thank you

Virgin Active Chelmsford Thanks guys for coming onboard and getting into the spirit of things.

Popeyes - Chelmsford There is chicken, then there is Popeyes chicken. Say no more. Thanks dudes.

Plus Chelmsford Museum for playing host to the finale.

And of course, and just as important, a huge thanks to all the volunteers, artists & participants. Without you, well there wouldn’t be a parade.

See you all next week.
