First breakfast of the new year. Keeping it super simple as always with this basic pancake recipe w/ everyday ingredients
Almond Japanese Pancakes, chive and Sriracha sauce, heavy cream and truffle. (Perfectly between savory and sweet).

It may be a surprise to some people that I’m actually a film nerd and studied it in college😅 So a very full circle moment.

In this drink I made my take on the Irish coffee inspired by my time at @thedeadrabbitny @aidanunderpressure in nyc and the frozen Irish coffees in New Orleans which Kelvin hails from!
In the full video we tried Red Bush Tea (Rooibos), biltong, WORMS and many more things.

Made my roommate a really simple breakfast this morning to presenting the change in season and her favourite time of the year☀️🌥️🏜️🍂❄️☃️
🥐Cream cheese, smoked salmon left in a soy sauce, chili flakes, tomato and scrambled egg! (Much better than the previous combo)

The perfect avocado on toast method. With smoked salmon, chilli and orange zest.
Adding 1/4 of a banana, sea salt, olive oil to your avocado changes everything! The banana and olive oil adds a tropical herbaceous-ness flavour which is missing from the avocado when store bought. If you’re from a tropical climate [or ever travel to] and tried the fruit there, you know what I mean when I say the avocado here taste like bland mushy npc filler fruit that’s mass produced even when it’s off season. This lil simple method takes it closer to its original taste of ‘home’.
My mum’s birthday♥️! I planned to surprise her and take her to the Four Seasons Hotel (a place she spoke to me about endlessly when I was a kid, as a dream of hers) and experience this special moment.
At one point I noticed my mum repeatedly sitting on the edge of her seat and visibly didn’t look settled, I asked her if she was okay, and she said “I feel like someone is going to come to tell me to leave because I don’t belong here”and it literally broke my heart. A person who deserves the world but never given a ladder to see it. A very sentimental weekend🥹. We went to incredible restaurants and bars, and I got to show her my weird little Food&Beverages world.
If you’ve followed me for a while then you know I don’t share any of my person life on social media but I think this was deserving to see the joy this moment brought. And I could not be here without all of you, so thank you from the bottom of my heart🫶

Super simple and quick lunch episode 4: I made my roommate a small fish dish for lunch.
I got new crystal wine glasses 🖤 it sounded like a siren’s song and worked perfectly with @billieeilish angelic voice
Black lemon I got from Bahrain, steamed fish. These are all leftovers used in my previous videos including the asparagus cooked in ex-dairy cow fat.
