If you go on Caravella’s Spotify page, you’ll see right away that they brand themselves as “indie/dream bedroom pop.” Being a relatively new band (only formed at the end of 2019), they still need to rely on these qualifiers to attract would-be listeners. That being said, it’s almost funny ...

hey hey! 2020 wrapup week has finally come to a close, and it’s time to share the acts that we think are going to absolutely blow up in 2021. each of these bands and artists have worked their asses off in 2020 — a year which was harder than any other we’ve had so far, during which they, arguably, had to work harder than they would have if they could’ve gigged and gotten in front of people — to put out incredible music and connect with their fans and make plans for their futures. each one of these artists has been a HUGE favorite in camp buzzkill, and if you don’t listen to them yet, you without a doubt should! will link a playlist in our stories that you can stick on shuffle to get acquainted with these artists. let us know who you think is one to watch in 2021! ⚡️

happy wednesday! it is normally ~playlist update day~ but seeing as it’s 2020 wrapup week, we’ll be sharing our favorite tracks released this year! it’s amazing to me how much amazing music was released this year — despite the fact that this year was harder than most, artists were still working smarter and better than ever. these songs shaped our year. i’ll be sharing the actual playlist that we made over on spotify to our stories, and it’ll be at the linktree in our bio, as well! click shuffle and enjoy ⚡️

!!!! i’m so excited to announce buzzkill’s records of the year. these are the top ten albums (but in no particular order) that i think shaped my 2020. music is a funny thing, because these albums are always going to remind me of this weird, changed world we’re living in — but i know i’ll look back on them in the future with fondness.

happy friday! as we reach the end of the year, it feels like everybody’s slowing down on releases and finally able to take a breath — or exhale the one they’ve been holding all year. there were some seriously fantastic releases this week — including a handful of original and covered christmas tunes, which have gotten me into a festive spirit! i hope you’re all well and feeling good going into the weekend. next week’s our 2020 wrap up — stay tuned to find out our favorite albums of 2020, and who we peg to be ones to watch going into the new year! ⚡️

happy monday! today’s FFO is who i’ve grown VERY fond of over the past couple of months and who i think is making some of the most unique, incredible music i’ve ever heard. i think that this year was her YEAR, and that she’s going to be regarded forever as a very special pop artist. the feature isnt live yet because i’m having some ~technical difficulties~ (in that they are, technically, difficulties) but i’ll be sure to make sure you all know when it is. hopefully tomorrow! but i wanted to get ’s AMAZING illo live today because, i mean, why wouldn’t i want the world to see this as soon as possible!!! baby queen’s tunes can be streamed anywhere you listen to music (her new EP “medicine” dropped just a couple of weeks ago!) but fair warning — once you start listening to her, it’s highly unlikely you’ll be able to stop any time soon. 🌹

happy friday! this was a soft week for me in terms of releases from bands i actually pay attention to, so forgive me the fact that this is a small weekly update. BUT on the bright side — released a new track and it KILLS. although the pool looks a little small, the rest of the releases on here ARE albums or EPs, so you have plenty to work with. i hope you find something here you really enjoy! and as always, if i missed something, let me know! 💖
